We have just made the decision to adopt and really need our new addition to like our Diva Persian Cat (who is very very laid back around dogs and is a rescue himself). I had to have my dog put to sleep two years ago and the house just isn't the same without him and I am getting fat from lack of exercise! Help!

Hi Vannessa and Dave four of us bought Billy when he was a pup.We are really pleased he has found a loving home.We had a lot of pleasure with him when he was racing we used to walk him every week.He was always very boistrous and a bit of a bully in the kennells. We always worried because of his size and stregnth he would struggle to find a good home.Although he was a hansome boy and everyone commented on this even the vet at the track said he was a fine specimen with beautiful eyes.We are really chuffed he has settled down and is making a good pet.All the best Roger Dave Dave and Brian.

Hello Anna Having two greyhounds is absolutely lovely, our two, Rose and James who we only adopted this year do keep each other company and James sure appreciates being with another greyhound. You would find I am sure that Harry and Pickles would love to be together and Pickles looks absolutely lovely. We found our Rose's personality came out when we had James she certainly livened up!. We were a little worried about having two but to us now it would be difficult to just have one there all a lot of benefits to having more than one like the special moments when they rub noses etc.! Also I can't bear the thought of the greyhounds not being rehomed before Christmas. Hope they all find a home soon. Alison, Richard, Rose and James

Anna She is such a quiet little girl. I am sure you wouldn't even notice her about. She has a lovely temperament .Two are much better than one, they keep each other company. As she is house trained and used to living in a house I am sure she wouldn't be a problem with your busy run up to Christmas. Your house would be big enough for her. What a lovely Cristmas present for her to be taken to your house and to be loved to bits. I am sure you wouldn't regret it Pam xxx

Oh I know but all these things keep going on in my head. Would the people who babysit Harry, when we occasionly need it, accept looking after 2 even if it is usually just over night. We are planning to start a kitchen extension in March, is it best to wait til after that to consider having another, as Harry is such a big boy, a second dog would need to be smaller! Also we have so much going on up to christmas it is only new year when our schedule calms down and she may have found a home by then!! My poor brain!! People who have more than 1 grey please help!!
