Just wanted to update you with how things are going. Crate hasnt really worked, tried her in it for a couple of days and she was having none of it. Think it may have worried her into behaving though! She has now taken to coming back in from her morning walk and going straight upstairs to her bed I can then sneak out with out any fuss and up till now it has worked (fingers crossed!). She has been off the lead a couple of times and her recall to me is fantastic she can run so fast! She doesnt want to know Tom or Ash as yet, she only seems interested in me maybe as I am the one that feeds her every day! Any way hope all is well with you guys and I hope to see you at the Kingsbury water park walk.

She looks so sweet and sad - am still trying to persuade the men in the house that 3 greys would be good!

Poor Ben having had a "free spirit" greyhound (my beautiful IZZY) I know how hard it is helping some Greys to realise they have found a forever home and that love is unconditional. I hope this sweet greyhound who has done nothing wrong will find someone again soon. He sounds a joy to have and has none of the problems I have overcome with my soulmate Izz. My other grey Dylan sounds just like Ben. Just wants a "mommy" a comfy bed, walks and of course food! and all is right in his world!

Felt the need to comment on bens return seeing as my initial report had been so positive of how ben had settled in with us. Today has been a horrendous day and i miss ben so much i cant say. Bottom line was, our hectic family and boystrous toddlers were just too stressful for Ben and we made the decision to return Ben with very heavy hearts. I cant say how good he has been with our dog and every other dog we have made contact with and also how well behaved he has been in the home. I truly hope Ben will find a lovin home very soon where he can really relax and enjoy his retirement in peace. A very, very special boy who i am devastated to see leave our home.

Unfortunately Ben is being returned today. The family have tried hard with Ben but we think he is finding his family life too busy especially with the young children. We think he would suit a quiet house, with older children and hope that he will finally find a 'forever home' soon.
