Pearl (Cara)
I’m Homed
Fantastic, Pearl now Cara, settled into her wonderful new home. Ruth and I went to see her yesterday and she has definitely flourished with the loving care from Jenny and Mark. She looks a different dog, so relaxed and her eyes no longer have the 'stare' they have been replaced by lovely soft ebony eyes. Well done Jenny and Mark Pam xx

We were wondering how Pearl was getting on as we believe she shared a kennel with James whilst they were there. Sounds like she has settled in and having a great time with the other greyhounds. It makes it all worthwhile when they greet you, James for one is so pleased to see us when we get back home we can`t believe it. Alison, Richard, Rose and James

Pearl (Cara)
I’m Homed
Well Pearl, now renamed Cara has her forever home at last. Izzy and Dylan, my other 2 lovely greys have valiantly put up with her grumbles ,and her need to push them away when they came to us for a fuss. They seemed to sense that she was a young lady who needed reassurance, and the security of belonging. She is now a happy girl once again. She still has the odd moan at her piers, but she seems to know she has joined the pack and has respect for the others, and learns from them every day. She has been allowed onto the "golden fleece" otherwise known as Izzies special bed, and all 3 where lying chewing their treats on it last night! 3 weeks ago when we took her home to see if she would fit in we never in our wildest dreams thought we would ever see that, but the pack (and that includes us) have gained so much by sticking with her, and when she runs up to us with the other 2 wagging her tail we know it has been well worth it. She lies in the sun with Dylan, and as Izzy is in luv with Mark (my husband) ! she is quite happy for Cara to have Dylan ( although he is not as good looking as James her last love). Well lets hope this is the start of a long and happy life for her, thanks Ruth for having faith in us. You can all stop worrying about her now, she's here to stay! luv Jenny Mark and the 3 AMIGOES

Dairylea (Daire)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Thanks Pam & Susie - glad you like the name - it's a kind of compromise from the Dairylea that Paul & Ruth came up with! We're looking forward to bringing him home and giving him the life he truly deserves and I'm sure you'll see him and us at events & walks in the future! Caz x

I had a quick peek at this lovely little girl whilst I was in earlier collecting a sack of food (honest guv - not after another one!) and she is sooo adorable! She really wanted to come and say hello but couldn't quite pluck up the courage. I could have happily picked her up and ran away with her! Em x
