Magic
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Maj is really settling in to home life now. She loved rolling around on the lawn so that she could keep cool when it was hot yesterday . She has just learnt to climb up the stairs, so doesn't get upset if we go up stairs as she can follow us now (Jay could manage the stairs straight away). Maj still gets very excited when she sees other dogs or cats, oh and when she saw a rabbit the other day, she just wanted to play. She loves her food too, even stuff we wouldn't expect her too such as broccoli, mange tout, melon, apple, birdfood (yes, she knocked the bird table over and then ate all the food off it - bless her!) She's asleep now on the arm chair with her head hanging over the side - she looks so sweet and lovely, we just can't help but love her. Her sister, Jay, is just so wonderful too. very good on the lead, not so bothered about food as Maj and will quite happily sleep on your lap all day long if only we would let her. She's so affectionate and loves to be cuddled. Although she is a bit of a magpie and will try to steal anything she can such as cushions, clothes, magazines, dvd cases, lunch boxes, etc. We even caught her chewing the kitchen scissors, luckily we managed to get them off her before she hurt herself. The other day she surprised us, she stood up on her hind legs and started playing the piano with her front paws. We didn't realse she was so talented! All in all, they are both beautiful girls and we are very lucky to have them. Now if we had a bigger house, we would be so tempted to get them a big brother!....:o)

Lady
I’m Homed
We were very excited to see Imogen's picture of Lady in the Grapevine magazine today! Imogen was very pleased. Lady's coat is starting to look lovely as most of her kennel coat has now gone. We are also very proud of the rosettes that Lady, Imogen and Daniel won when we took part in the Dog Show at Box Trees. It was a lot of fun!!

Claudia
I’m Homed
Claudia was collected from the kennels by myself : Robert, and my partner : Darren on 23rd June and is settling in wonderfully. We have re-named her "Dolly" and she seems to like it ! Dolly has learned so many things in such a short time - she is very bright. She can now go up and down stairs on her own and loves to play with her cuddly toys - especially "Ducky". Needless to say, we keep our bin in the cupboard under the sink, so no bin raiding in our house. We love having Dolly with us and would like to say thanks to Ruth and everyone at PBRGT for letting us find such a beautiful girl with a huge personality.

Hello Ina....How strange is that! There are a huge amount of siblings but the chances of them being together at same time must be slim! Thanks for your email, it will be easier than writing on here all the time...shame about cake, we ordered one months ago, but email me some photos as would love to see for future. Chat soon xxx

P.S. We weren't sure about the name Gorby, so he's now Tolly - after Leo Tolstoy - another good Russian!

We never dreamt of owning such a cuddly dog. He's just a brilliant addition to our family, and Cassie loves him too. Already they quite often walk along side by side, lie close to each other and have even chased a ball together. Thanks to all at the kennels for their love and care for him. We think he's going to make a super ambassador for the Trust. He's already made several conquests among the folk of our village by demanding cuddles from them.

Ben
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I've just had the pleasure of visiting Ben in his new home with his lovely new Mummy. They both clearly adore each other already. Ben was waiting very patiently for his tea when I arrived, he was soon rewarded with his long awaited bowl and having emptied it, settled down for a lovely comfy snooze, it's a tough life, but someone has to do it! Think you've got it well and truly cracked this time Ben, you're a very lucky lad. Enjoy your new home. See you soon. Love from Ann and Willow
