Barney
I’m Homed
hello ruth, we've had the lovely barney now for 3 days and hes so well behaved. hes been clean, not a peep overnight and has enjoyed a gentle stroll in his new neighbourhood! hes met lots of dogs, he does get excited with the smaller ones, but says a nice hello, tis early days and we are going to take him to classes when his wound has healed. mum brought cindy over last night, she winds him up and she growled at him and he growled at her but they eventually settled, it will take a little time but we will work it out im sure of that! he is a real babe and loves his bed and hes a real food monster!! his coat looks better already and hes such a sunny happy boy. we will keep you posted and see you on the sutton park walk end of the month if not before if i can get you more quilts. fay and darrin

Sorry Magical Toni, just realised I asked if you were my big or little brother! Hope you're not too offended. If you look like my twin then how could any dog as beautiful as us be anything but female! Hee! Hee!

Madge
I’m Homed
Well it's the end of week two at Madge's new home and she has really settled in now! Her favourite places are the park, Jacob's bed and the kitchen!!! (I wonder why!) She had her follow up home visit today and Pete and son Christopher were really pleased at how happy and settled she was. We're so proud of her! Wonderful to here from another member of the Magical family. Hey Toni! Are you my little brother or my big brother? Hope to meet up and have a family reunion one day! Thanks for birthday wishes. Off now for a snooze xxx

Wolfy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Wolfy, although it was lovely to see you on Saturday we are sad to see that you are no longer reserved, you are such a kind lovely hound and hopefully someone will take you home very soon, meanwhile keep your chin up. barks and licks from Monty Rossi and Toby ( ps we are trying to persuade our mum to have you but she says that it's our dad who needs talking round!)

Goldie
I’m Homed
Hi Ruth, Goldie here. Just thought that I'd drop you a line to let you know how I am getting on in my new home. I have a nice cosey bed next to a lovely warm radiator, and I have a prime television spot in the lounge next to the warm fire, which is great !! I now live in a busy household with lots of furry friends to keep me company, but at the moment I don't get left alone with Jerry the cat, just in case i feel the need to chase him (which would be fun for me, but not for Jerry !!). Life couldn't be better for me, as I get two steady walks a day as my wrist is still a little sore. I get waited on for breakfast and an evening meals, so its just like being in a posh doggy hotel. And when I'm a good girl i even get fresh fish, yummy !! Anyway, I am off for a snooze now, as all this lying down takes it out of me. Hope to see you again soon. Love Goldie and friends xxx

Ben
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Ruth, Ben (or benny boy as he is now fondly known) has been with us for 6 weeks now and we are totally smitten. He settled in from day 1 and considering we have a VERY yappy yorkshire terrier and 2 babies he surpassed all our expectations! I think our yorkie chloe would have felt a bit miffed only she is loving all the extra walks! Ben is fitter than ever and has an appetite like we have never seen. We can only say how pleased we are with him and how he has just slotted in to our very busy family-id have 5 of them if we had the space! That is probably the only drawback to having a greyhound- we all sit on the floor whilst he enjoys the sofa!!!! xxx

Snowy (now Toby) is settling in really well. He is an amazing dog, very happy to meet new people, knows his bed, and only had one accident his first night home. We couldn't have wished for a dog so suited to our family. Thanks to all who helped him while in Daybreaks, will bring him in for a visit in a couple of weeks. Ruth, will email a couple of piccies. 'Mum' Marie.
