Daybreaks Diary!

Well, what a very disgusting day...none stop rain! Have to say a huge thank you to Patrick and Gloria who braved the elements this morning to walk the dogs and to Jan and Gill who did the same same this afternoon. There's dedication for you! Surprisingly our lovely residents didn't protest about the rain and were happy to go out! :)) Even my Skip got wet! Xxx It turned out to be a very busy day, Grace (Alexa) and Casper (Paty) went home and Paddy was reserved. :)) Hoping it won't be long before our other residents find their forever homes too. Xxx Just contemplating taking my three out for a wee before bed....can hear the rain beating against the French doors, maybe I'll leave it for a few more minutes! Stay safe and dry everyone. Xxx

Our lovely boy Rigsby is 11 today. He’s had a poorly tummy this week so can’t have birthday treats till that’s all better but then he’ll have lots of sossidges to make up for it (though he’ll have to share some with Hope and Snip!).

I'm so sad to read this. Mike was such a fun lad. Always greeting people in that bouncy way. I'm just glad he spent his retirement with a loving family. My sympathies go out to them.

So sad to hear this news. Mike was a character and well loved. It's so cruel that such a youngster is taken away so soon. At least he was adopted so he could be spoilt in his last weeks. My thoughts go out to his family. Run free sweet Mike. x

Daybreaks Diary!

It's been a wet one today!! The boys & girls did manage a walk this morning whilst it was still only drizzling, but by this afternoon the relentless downpour meant they all came out into the feeding runs to have some playtime with toys. It was a very quiet day, not really surprising as you wouldn't really go out in this weather unless you had to!! Our newbies are lovely, Paddy definitely prefers to have company as he gets quite vocal and worried on his own. Hopefully over the next few days both he & Alexa will start to settle in and relax bless them. As yet another weekend looms, keep fingers crossed as we have some viewings booked - I shall raise my usual glass of wine later in the hope of a red sign by Monday. Whatever you are up to this weekend, stay safe & dry!! Cheers. Angie x
