A good day for the lad today. Had a walk with our Kitty. Lots of new things to look at and process but no freezing. He was happy to trot on when I thought he’d looked long enough at something. He’s met other breeds of dog today and not been at all bothered. A v fast cyclist whizzed past us while we were stopped talking to someone and a child on a swing was one of the items of interest to look at en route home too. He’s played with Kitty until both were totally pooped but equally he’s listened when my older dogs told him to get out of their spaces. He’s interested in my little dog when she moves quickly but he’s having his muzzle on when they meet and he’s happy to be turned away from her and doesn’t push past me if I stand between them. We’ve found a better menu choice for him and he’s had brekkie and tea today and is now snoozing on the lounge floor. He does a great lean and is ready for his own lounge to snooze in.

Spirit has a good night with us. Some singing during the night and a dawn chorus at almost 7am which is acceptable in our house. He’s a lovely young chap who just wants to play. He’s discovered Kitty’s well stocked toy box but will equally settle happily if nothing is going on.

We are absolutely heartbroken to have Spirit returned to us today after only being rehomed on Saturday. This is sadly due to a sudden change in the family’s personal circumstances.

I ‘popped’ into the kennels to collect raffle prizes ready for first aid talk and ended up rehoming Pan. What a wonderful family he has found…. I’m so happy for him and I have already been sent a fabulous photo of him settled and looking very happy. XxxX

It's been a great week for some of our Daybreaks residents... It was fabulous to see Spirit and Pan go off to their new homes today. 🙂 Do hope all goes well for them both. They are lovely lads. Xxx Beautiful Missy was reserved yesterday and little Violet has been reserved today! Xxx All we need now is for our three remaining gorgeous boys Monty, Gino and Chas to find their new homes too! Xxx Laura had a very busy day with pampers, nail clipping and a health check for recently homed Bobby. Xxx It was great to have Ruth and Laura back after both having been ill last week. :)) Xxx
