Pan has been with us on foster for a week now. He is very well behaved, very clean in the house, he hasn’t had any accidents at all. He is a strong dog and while he walks really well, he needs a firm grip on his lead because he does get excited when he sees squirrels, cats and other dogs. He is nervous about new things and new people, but he soon got to know us. He really seems to like watching the TV and he is a big softee who likes cuddles and wants to play.

Caesar has been having a great year. Sometimes not easy, when we helped Josh overcome his challenges. However, you remain a good naughty boy. Keeping us all on our toes, any opportunity you see you will grab with both paws. We took Caesar in because his prognosis was not great. In true Caesar style, he has shown cancer his middle claw and keeps beating what was predicted. Unfortunately, his tumour has grown this year, but it is not causing him any problems. As one mentioned, Caesar is having to much fun to die. Long may this continue. You have an interesting relationship with Barney. You are partners in crime. Stealing food wherever you can find it, our kitchen, during walks, at the kennels. You are almost like true human brothers, you sometimes squabble over the coach, or in the car. Other times you are so patient and caring for one another. Caesar, I want to wish you a happy New Year, lets see where it will take you.

I am so pleased to see Josh is back (where he belongs :-)) with the foster family he has settled so well earlier this year. Josh, I hope you had a great Xmas and will have a very happy New Year. Josh whilst it has been challenging on occasions, especially in the beginning. However, you will always have a special place in our families hearts

On Christmas Eve, six years ago we formally adopted Lyra. She is an absolute joy and we adore her. She has been bouncing around this afternoon with her partner in crime Cracker generally causing mischief! :)) Xxx Like everyone who is fortunate to have a Greyhound friend in their lives, I'm looking forward to watching Skip Lyra and Cracker opening their Christmas presents tomorrow. I have the pleasure of fostering this little beauty over Christmas and New Year. She was a little anxious at first, but she seems to now be settling into her new and strange surroundings. She is very curious and has been round having a good old sniff of everything. She is eating well and stayed clean in the house on her first night here. I’m hoping to take her out and socialise a bit so watch this space. She’s certainly a very friendly hound and is enjoying her cuddles!!

We’re so happy to welcome Boycie to our family. We changed his name from Jack as that was the name of our second grey, so we have continued with sitcom names after losing our lovely boy Rigsby in September. Looking forward to making lots of happy memories with Boycie - our 6th grey xx
