I am so happy that the lovely Maeve has found her forever home and a new “sister” to play with. It was a pleasure to look after her and introduce her to life outside of the kennels. Be a good girl Maeve and enjoy your new life out there xx

May came back from foster this morning and went off to her forever home this afternoon! She has a lovely Greyhound sister called Molly and a new name, Maeve. xxx Wishing her and her lovely new family lots of great times together. Thanks so much to DelphysMum who fostered May for the Christmas holiday, she had a fabulous time! Xxx

Dear Jeremy and Julie, I have been reading through the many comments about Casey....they brought back memories of when he first arrived at the kennels and how he found his forever home with you. Casey left us on Tuesday 19th December and we have been heartbroken since. Who would have guessed that a ‘problem’ hound who came to stay for two nights over Easter, would have turned out to be my best pal and the centre of our lives for the best part of seven years! Casey was a lovely soul who knew what he wanted and it was our privilege to give him a devoted, loving home. They say that when we die, the first thing we see is our dead pets running to greet us! I suspect that when my time comes, I’ll have to wait for Casey to finish his kip and then wonder over. That’s the way he did things and one of the reasons why we loved him so much. See you on the other side Pal!

Maeve (May)

This gorgeous girl has been with me for a week now and has been the perfect house guest! She has been totally clean, and has been absolutely fine when left alone for short periods in the house. She is very friendly and has loved everyone she has met. I have taken her to my local pub and cafe and she was a bit anxious, but I’m sure this would improve over time. She met my friends collie cross this morning and I think May just wanted to play and there were no signs of aggression. She seems to learn very quickly and is still enjoying her cuddles!! Hope there aren’t too many fireworks going off on New Year’s Eve!
