Unfortunately I couldn't get Flash seen at the vets until Thursday morning so I will keep you all posted. The swelling has gone done a lot more and she is very content laying on her duvet with Momma in the kennels office today as I have brought her to work with me! She is adorable x

Flash is absolutely adorable! She was quite stressed last night on arriving home to be faced with Tiggy, Momma and 4 chickens! Despite this, she ate her dinner and took treats from me. I brought a soft crate home which she alternated in hiding in, or sitting on our window seat. During the night I heard movement..... how she managed it, I do not know but she had tried to drag our massive lounge rug into her crate, along with my work boots, numerous toys and one of our wooden chairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, I persuaded her to go outside but then she wouldn't come back in..... so hoping not to give the neighbours a shock I tiptoed out and she came in! Phew....... This morning, she suddenly appeared in our bedroom doorway having mastered the stairs and she has had breakfast, a treat and is keeping Momma company. Her leg seems a little less tender today and she is weight bearing a bit more but I am taking her to the vets tomorrow to just get it checked to be on the safe side as the site of her hock injury has been quite swollen. I love her!

Daybreaks Diary!

Considering the diary was fairly clear today it went nuts! Susie had a viewing and went home with new brother Harley, hopefully all will go well. Rosie was signed up today, she has been perfect in her home with not only the other dogs (greys and non greys) but also a little cute human tot! This lead to the family deciding that the would like to reserve little Flash. She retired due to a broken hock and this has swollen up again over the past couple of days. She currently has some medication and has had some treatment in our magnatherapy box, it has seemed to help. Ruth has taken her home for a few days to keep her under observation. Hopefully, all being well she will go out with Rosies family. Polly was reserved too, she got on well with her prospective new brother, so another success story. Jasper (Linford BobTail) had a visit from his family, he had lots of treats and his Mom has started to stock up on treats to take home with him after his neutering op. He will hate me on Friday as it is me who is taking him! Ruth had nail cuttings, corn removal and dressing poor Skips wound which is a bit of a conundrum as to Joe it happened. He went home sporting a lovely Daybreaks t-shirt. Thanks to everyone for their help today. It was greyt to see Ruth back today, she is still in pain but hopefully will get better soon. Xx
