Mike came to Elmdon Park with me again today. He was, once again, a joy to walk. He is such a friendly boy, who loves people. He walks very calmly and makes a great companion. I thought I had tired him out after an hour's walk but half an hour after returning to Daybreaks he looked full of energy again!! Fingers crossed for your own family soon Mike xx

    I’m Homed

What a difference a few days make. When I went to see Zeb on Sunday he stood as far away as possible from me until he got used to me sitting with him. Today when I stood in front of his kennel, he got up, wagged his tail and with some encouragement came up to the bars for some fuss. We went for a walk later as well around the nature reserve in Elmdon Park. Apart from being a little nervous of some of the lorries whizzing past us on the A45 on the way to the park, he was very pleased to be out and about. He walks very calmly and is a pleasure to be with. It really was fabulous to see how much he has grown in confidence already. Here's hoping that his forever sofa is round the corner xx

It was a big clean up day in the sand run! Thanks so much to Dave, Simon and Ian for moving the gazebos in very breezy conditions this morning! 🙂 Everything that wasn't sold over the weekend is know very neatly arranged and undercover at the near end of the run. Anyone is welcome to pop in and take a look. The sand run is open as normal and we will make sure no one enters whilst it is in use. :)) It took all day to sort, thanks so much the lads for all their hard work. Xxx

Overjoyed to know Daisy is safe and at home. 🙂 I don't know how her family have got through the last 18 days or indeed how Daisy has managed to survive with everything she has had to go through including thunderstorms and scorching hot temperatures...BUT she did! :)) Sending her a huge cuddle! Sleep well in your own bed tonight little Daisy. Xxx

Awww. Poor Daisy. That's a lot of teeth to have removed but, if she's anything like my Bert was, she'll be so much better without them. Bert had all of his teeth removed I've 3 separate ops. Glad to hear she's got some bounce back and is eating. Take care. x

  • Zeb

    I’m Homed

It's taken a few days to get to know Zeb. He's very shy, in a kennel with more outgoing dogs it would be easy to over look him. He needs to build up trust with you before his soft gentle nature comes out. A few yummy treats and he is won over! I'm sure once home on his sofa, he will start to show his nature and come out if his shell.

Mike is a big bundle of fun. He's very vocal in his kennel, but loves being out in the centre run to see what's going on. His 1st reaction to me is to bow down to play. We have a good old run around, he's a big lad, but very gentle. He just loves people.

    I’m Homed

George comes across as a bit reserved at 1st. Wags his tail but just wants to get out of his kennel to look around. After a few days of knowing him, he has started to recognise me and interact more. He runs towards me and wants to play. So given time, he will make a fantastic addition to any home.

When Jo called me I was so scared to hear what she was going to say but just cried at the wonderful news. Just so overjoyed for Daisy and relieved for the family. They must have been so miserable these past few weeks. What a horrible experience for all but miracles do happen and this is one of those occasions. Some good nourishment and tlc and I am sure Daisy will settle back very quickly and not want to put so much as her nose outside the front door, or any door, without a family member present!!! Grateful thanks to the ladies who found and helped Daisy dont begin to express everyone's gratitude. Truly wonderful news.
