Hi Kate, nice to hear from you too! 🙂 I have found daddy's bin again! I found it after barking at him to take me out! He was sleeping so I made sure I woke him by taking the bin. He knew it was me as all the rubbish fell out and I left a trail... whoops Russ Xx

Daybreaks Diary!

And then there were 5!!! We started off with 7 lovely boys & girls this morning but by the end of the day Delux had bagged himself a new home and the lovely Molly had gone off to her forever sofa. Wishing everyone many happy times ahead. x Our boys & girls had 2 walks today in some lovely sunshine. I enjoyed taking Harry, Polly and Zeb - after initially pulling to get going both Harry & Polly settled into the walk and happily trotted along, Polly doing an occasional little skip and a jump! It can take some of these boys and girls a while to realise that they can walk for pleasure. Zeb as usual walked like a dream. Many thanks to Elizabeth for taking Big Mike on another trip to the Park today. He is a real charmer, and these trips will help him to learn all about the outside world and its inhabitants. The nice weather meant I could get 2 lines of washing dried and put away, and as there were so few doggies they were treated to grooming and cuddle sessions!! As another weekend approaches I shall raise a glass of nicely chilled white wine to the few remaining residents and wish for their forever sofas - and hope that the newcomers on the list to join the Daybreaks family soon will also enjoy a short stay. Mike came with me to Elmdon Park again today. He is such a sweet boy and he always greets you with such enthusiasm. He walks really well and is a great companion. He really loves walking through the long grass and enjoys a good sniff. I think he is enjoying exploring everything that a post racing life has to offer. I really hope that he gets his own family very soon xx
