Mike met a small dog today, he was very good with him. :). He also met a family who had come to have a look at the dogs. He absolutely loved all the extra fuss and attention. He loves people! :))) Xxx

Zeb met a Little dog today...he was very good with him. :)) Zeb's confidence has grown such a lot in the short time he has been at the kennels. 🙂 He is a super lad, so pleased he has been reserved. Xxx

I am absolutely ecstatic for you sweetheart. You've broken a few hearts and I absolutely fell in love with you but couldn't have a 3rd boy. Have a fantastic retirement and I hope we'll see you at an event soon. Be a good boy (I'm sure you will). x

I went to Daybreaks with my little Galgo girl on Sunday to have a look around the sale. Picked up a few great bargains. I took an ostrich bone for George as Reene didn't really bother with it! He loved it and I did go for a little walk with him, my girl and the lovely Lynne in the sand run. My dog is very dog reactive to most dogs, but ok with greyhounds and pups. She seemed to like George, a lot I think and he liked her. He seemed happy, confident, laid back, with the most beautiful eyes and potentially a good match for us. Having giving it a lot of thought, sadly we are a 1 dog household for the forseeable future, which upsets me a lot, but I have to do what's right. If our situation and circumstances were different, I would 100% have reserved George by now. Thank you to all staff on Sunday xx

Daybreaks Diary!

Today was out 14th birthday, it was very low key to say the least! Pet Blood Bank were in, we had three kennel dogs that could potentially donate, sadly none did. Mike had his vaccination a week ago, needs to be fourteen days before to allow donating. George has eye drops and could also not donate and Zeb was a little nervous, bless him. We had one pet dog who was also a little unnerved as his owner could not be with him whilst donating due to social distancing. So Good Boy Flloyd was the only donating dog today, he spent the rest of the day in the office and enjoyed his packed lunch!! We had a new arrival, very pretty Molly, she had a lovely bath, not too keen on eating her dinner but will soon settle. Zeb found himself reserved, hope all goes well for him. Many thanks to our lovely volunteers who came in today, we are obviously observing social distancing but it is great to be able catch up with everyone at a safe distance. Let's hope the homing momentum continues and we can reduce the waiting list we currently have of dogs waiting for a kennel space and continue to get dogs into loving homes. Xx

We can't wait to come and meet Zeb! He did so well on his cat test today and we are hoping he will be the perfect addition to our family. We adopted Grey face Joey and Milly from Daybreaks 8 years ago but sadly lost Joey last year and Milly just a few weeks ago. We are now ready for a new hound to join our home and are hoping that Zeb will be the perfect fit. Coming to meet him once we have got a few things ready and hopefully he will love his new life in North Wales! Lots of beaches and countryside to run around in with his two little human sisters 🙂 xx
