Awww. Poor Daisy. That's a lot of teeth to have removed but, if she's anything like my Bert was, she'll be so much better without them. Bert had all of his teeth removed I've 3 separate ops. Glad to hear she's got some bounce back and is eating. Take care. x

It was so fab to spend time with you today Hope (Lorna) & to take you & your new sister Joy for a walk. I can’t wait to take you home tomorrow to start your new life in Devon- we are going to have so much fun together! xx

Zeb

It's taken a few days to get to know Zeb. He's very shy, in a kennel with more outgoing dogs it would be easy to over look him. He needs to build up trust with you before his soft gentle nature comes out. A few yummy treats and he is won over! I'm sure once home on his sofa, he will start to show his nature and come out if his shell.

Mike
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Mike is a big bundle of fun. He's very vocal in his kennel, but loves being out in the centre run to see what's going on. His 1st reaction to me is to bow down to play. We have a good old run around, he's a big lad, but very gentle. He just loves people.

Seanchai (George)

George comes across as a bit reserved at 1st. Wags his tail but just wants to get out of his kennel to look around. After a few days of knowing him, he has started to recognise me and interact more. He runs towards me and wants to play. So given time, he will make a fantastic addition to any home.

When Jo called me I was so scared to hear what she was going to say but just cried at the wonderful news. Just so overjoyed for Daisy and relieved for the family. They must have been so miserable these past few weeks. What a horrible experience for all but miracles do happen and this is one of those occasions. Some good nourishment and tlc and I am sure Daisy will settle back very quickly and not want to put so much as her nose outside the front door, or any door, without a family member present!!! Grateful thanks to the ladies who found and helped Daisy dont begin to express everyone's gratitude. Truly wonderful news.

DAISY IS HOME!! Daisy came out of the bushes not far from home and went up to 2 ladies who then took her to her home. She is very thin and will be taken to be checked over, but for now she is fast asleep, safe and well on her bed. A massive thank you to everyone who helped search over the past 18 days, it's been a rollercoaster. Jill.

Daisy recently had her birthday but has been having trouble with her teeth/gums. Went in for dental on Saturday and had 25 teeth removed and had to spend the night. Human Tim and grey Stanley found it weird without her. Collected yesterday and had some of usual bounce and managed a light meal. Hope all greys and their humans are staying safe. Annaxx

It's was lovely to meet you yesterday George! Such a pleasant nature, happy and calm while all that excitement was going with all those greys! It was also nice for Michelle and I to be back around greyhounds since losing Den. Thanks George you're a wonderful lad and it was a pleasure to meet you.

Daybreaks Diary!

Seriously thinking of suggesting installing a turnstile at the kennels! Today it was in, out bye bye Thor! Good luck mate. Shy Shelley has gone out on foster, fingers crossed her and existing dog Jess get on well. Thanks to everyone for their help today very much appreciated. There were lots of lovely visitors who came to our sand run sale...really looking forward to seeing what your generous donations have raised for the kennels. The way things are going we should hopefully have more new arrivals this week, need to get those turnstiles installed soon!!

Hiya, bye-ya. It was a short stay, 20 mins I think. He turned up at just the right time. Perfect dog for the family looking around. Very friendly and lovely boy, but didn't even get a collar or kennel, only saw the middle run.
