The head injury hasn't had an adverse effect on Dice. He's still keen to go for a walk and is interested in everything around him, probably on the lookout for more pesky squirrels!!!!! Xxxxx

Thank you for your kind words all. These fur babies do break our hearts dont they? Shanishoo, I've never heard of it but apparently very common in cats so hoping none of my others get it. And yes seana, vinnies anniversary is next month, god bless them all. Hope you're all ok. Yes i love Russell Watson and i saw him on dogs behaving badly once with the rescue dog he couldn't take to crufts. The poor thing (Sure its a lurcher type) was thrown out of a moving vehicle on the motorway and was obviously so traumatised but theyve had her and shes proper landed on her paws. At least there are kind people out there to help these animals and hopefully us kind ones out way the evil! Xxx

Dear Lucy, I am so very sorry to hear about Otis. What a dreadful thing to happen, especially when so young. I know you will all be gutted. I do hope Jet will settle as I know they were besotted with each other. I know the 1st anniversary of your other rainbow bridge baby is soon. May they both be at peace. Seana, Melly, Teddy & Fergal Xxx

Jetlucy, so sorry to hear you lost your cat today. So young. Lots of love and thinking of you all. Xxx I saw Russell Watson on Crufts, what a nice man! It was obvious from his comments how much he loves not only his Greyhound but also his other two rescue dogs. Xxx

Jetlucy, I'm really sorry to hear that you have lost your beloved cat Otis, I lost my first cat Winston years ago to exactly the same condition, it's heartbreaking, keeping you in my thoughts xxxxx

Amber would like to thank everyone at Daybreaks for their support and understanding. After all, this is a lady who knows her own mind - and is very selective of her friends! Finn has met her extremely high standards (a club of only two - him and Casper) and she is happy to be showing Finn the ropes. Finn worked too hard in the first few days to fit in (separation anxiety) but Amber led by example and with her help (and a lucky thunder shirt - thanks Kate!) he no longer demolishes the stair gate to try to find us at night and is now a very much more relaxed boy. In fact, we think the fur is starting to come back on his legs and he gives us the most wonderful welcome in a morning, with an extremely waggy tail. He is now very much part of the family. Thanks so much Daybreaks!

Well done russell Watson for his comments on crufts! Don't know if anyone watched, but he brought his retired greyhound is and was saying what a fabulous breed they were and how he recommends them to anyone, woop woop! God bless the rainbow bridge hounds jo has mentioned. We devastatingly lost our beautiful cat early hours this morning from a blood clot to the spine that came on in an instant but left him paralysed. He was only 6 and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go as he was in excruciating pain and the vets advised there was nothing they could do. Run free too our beautiful otis, we love you so so much xxxx
