Bobby has decided to stay with us and I am so happy! :)) I wanted to keep him after just a couple of days! We wanted to make sure he would be ok with having three other Greyhounds around, especially Lyra Nightmare and Fletch as they can be very loud and boisterous at times! He is fine with them all. 🙂 I also needed practice at walking four dogs! :)) Bobby is an absolute star, perfect in every way. He loves to potter around the garden. I know in his previous home this was one of his favourite things to do; he liked to help June's gardener with his tasks. 🙂 Hopefully when the weather gets warmer he will be able to spend more time outside. I love him! Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A really busy and very positive day. :)) Brilliant to see Nicol, now called Willow adopted. She has a lovely Greyhound sister to share her life with...wishing Willow and Misty lots of great times together. Tessa was reserved 🙂 and we had other very promising viewings. Fingers crossed. In between Ruth and I took Tig and her Momma in the sand run, it's very scary watching Tig racing around with her wonky leg and hoping she doesn't do anything to it! She is a young lass who needs to let go of some of her energy. She and her Momma had a wonderful time. :)) Many thanks to all our helpers today. The weather was much better so the residents enjoyed two walks without getting wet! Liz took Brian to Nottcuts for a roadshow today. She said he was a very good boy and really enjoyed himself. He is a super lad We have an office full of toys! Bright, colourful, soft and squeaky...why not treat your beloved friend? They are only £3 each or for £5 you get two. :)) Tig tested the Octopus and then wanted to test another one! We are so very grateful to everyone who has donated tins of fish or meat for our Greyhounds. Thank you to those who have brought them to the kennels and also to all who have had them delivered to us. You can be sure our girls and boys will enjoy it all! Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We feed tails.com having one on very very sensitive, one on easy to digest and One who just has her mix - they look fab, very rarely have upset tummies ( Jato excluded but she eats non food given the chance) even a couple our vets have changed after seeing how they look. The fact that they deliver as well is great because it saves so much hassle. If anyone wants to give tails ago I have some vouchers for a free month. Xxx
