Sorry a sad post to make for those of you who knew Jess Johnson from the Stratford Greyhound walks I am the bearer of sad news, Jess passed away this afternoon after a short illness bravely borne. Jess was a regular attendee of the walks and also the Stratford fund raisers organised by Steve and Sue and will be very sadly missed.

What a lovely girl Breezy is. She was very excited when I went to get her ready for her walk this afternoon. She is very pretty and after the excitable start settled very well into her walk. She wouldnt let me leave her kennel without giving her a cuddle. Her tail never stops wagging. xxxx

Honey is a very pretty little girl. She seems to be quite confident and although I wasnt on the other end of her lead this afternoon I could see that she was walking nicely and wasnt bothered by the noisy Coventry Road. xxxxxx

What a delightful, dainty girl Dotty is. She s still a bit unsure of what's going on but she walked so beautifully on the lead and was very happy to receive cuddles and kisses. She has tiny paws and is a very pretty girl. Lots of cuddles sweetie xxx

Spritz and Paddy have just been outside in the garden and decided it was play time. They spent 5 frantic minutes running after each other round and round churning up the grass until Paddy decided a wee was more important. Lovely to see she is so settled now that she will play with toys inside and do zoomies outside. She didn't mind having her paws washed afterwards too, she's a super girl. In true greyhound style they are both sleeping it off until dinnertime xx

A little milder today, at least the hose wasn't froze! Thanks to everyone who came in to help. Really appreciate it. Gent has been reserved, it shows that comments made during foster do have a positive impact. It was however little Kitty who was the one who decided that he was the boy for her! Next it was the turn of pretty girl Rose, another victim of the failed foster club, yay. She is such a cutie and will be spoiled rotten 🙂 It was lovely to have a good old chat with her new owners. They have really fallen for her. X 3 new arrivals today, yes 3, all girls and all so very beautiful. Thanks so very much to Bob and Gloria for collecting them from the track. I met our 2 arrivals from yesterday this morning, the are too cute, they remind me of the twins Saddle and Roy, but girlies! All in all another very productive day. Let's get the waiting list down, if you can come and see us and home a hound (or 2 or...), I think you get the jist we would be extremely grateful. Remember support is always on hand should you need it. Again many thanks to all of our foster families for your support, you have helped the hounds in an amazing way, whether you failed at fostering or not. Giving them a sample of life in a home helps us give prospective new owners an insight into how they adjusted. Thank you. X
