2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Don't worry Kate I was just about to do an update on Finn and his diet so here it is. It's not going well ! He feels betrayed by Aunty Pam. After welcoming her into his home the result is the "love of his life" food, has been decreased and he feels she should have kept her comments about his size to herself as it's not fair. Just when he had got his mom wrapped round his little (big) paw with treats on demand she has scuppered it!!! and he is now on what he feels is a starvation diet which his mom insists is the correct amount. Nina is helping out as she is now eating all her food while he watches having eaten his pitiful dinner and licked the bowl cleaner than when it was new ! I think it's helping as he must have lost a Kg in drool lol. I am having to harden myself to the big sad eyes sat by the treats draw and when I am tempted to weaken my husband reminds me that I can cut his cheesecake supply on a whim easier than I can refuse Fat neck a sweet potatoe stick. (or two lol) I will persevere and sneak Aunty Pam in by the side door when she comes next time.!!! Sorry Pam, but I cannot have him blaming me.I have to live with him! Updates on weight loss to follow but don't hold your breath xx

You need an "are you sure button" when deleting items to prevent accidental deletions. Maybe IT department can sort this out for you. It's an extra safety net 🙂 xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Lots of lovely new arrivals today! Thanks so much to Bob and Declan for collecting Layla, Sky and Shabby from the track for us and to Jetson's trainer for dropping him at the kennels. They are all gorgeous! It was a chilly day for having a bath but we made sure they were all kept snug and warm afterwards. Thanks so much to Lucy, Becky and Declan for spending most of the morning getting wet! Our little Iceman went home this afternoon and now has the great new name of Horace! I'm sure he is going to be great fun and a real character. He came into the office while his new family were filling in his paperwork and tried desperately to steal anything that was within his reach....his favourite item being my empty hot chocolate mug! Handsome Reggie had a checkup with the vet. All is looking good with his wound after his recent neutering op. Sue took him for us and said what a very good boy he was both travelling in the car and when he saw the vet. :)) He has to wait another week until he can have his stitches out. Nick had the bestest ever news today...he has been Reserved!! Please keep everything crossed for him that this really will be his forever home! He is such a special lad. Xxx A huge thank you to everyone for their help on what was a very busy day and also a very cold day too! :)) Special thanks to Jayne who I'm sure sabotaged the water pipes at her place of work so she could spend the day with us! :)))) Xxx
