2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Reggie a lot brighter today. He enjoyed his breakfast and dinner and seemed a little more comfortable. Xx It was a very cold and dull day today. Thanks so much to everyone who came out in the cold to give the doggies a walk this morning and this afternoon. Nick got two walks this afternoon. We had a volunteer left with out a dog to take out. Nick was there ready and waiting, I'm sure he was saying "take me, take me!" :)) He came into the kitchen with us this afternoon and was such a good boy. Brandy came for a visit to the kitchen too and spent some time in the Magnotherapy box. Xx It was great to see Fifi go home with her new brother Rory this afternoon. Do hope she is a good girl and doesn't boss him around too much!! They did get on really well together and had a competition as to who could push Dawn over by leaning the most! :)) Our residents have had their first Christmas present! Thank you so much to Danny for arranging a food and treat collection at his place of work. Everyone has been so generous...lots of tins of meat and bags of treats for all the dogs to tuck into. :))) A big thank you to Declan for feeding the doggies and cleaning the runs this afternoon...you are a Star!!! Xxx

Woo alij well done! I can't wait to see who picks you although all would be a good option but I think we all secretly want it to be one of them...but loving that all the ones you're thinking of are not black boys they're the best! I really do think we need a big black boy club like the ffp club! Sounds like whoever goes home with you will be very lucky xxx

After speaking to Dawn many times since she took Rory home It was lovely to finally meet her this afternoon and great to see the very handsome Rory again! He chose Fifi to be his new little sister...Xxx

Just found out that we passed our home check! We are delighted and can't wait to meet Nick, Jet and Reggie on Saturday to see if any of them choose us to be their family!

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Sue dropped Reggie off at the vets for us this morning. He had a major op to locate his dangly bits! They were found up by his kidneys! Thankfully all went well. He was very subdued when I picked him up this evening and he was very uncomfortable getting on his bed. Poor lad, do hope he feels better tomorrow. Xx Thanks to everyone for their help today, we had enough volunteers to be able to take our residents on morning and afternoon walks. :)) We were also able to catch up with health checks, washing etc. Thank you to the visitors who popped in with donations of bedding and then stayed to have a cuddle with all the dogs. :)) It was great too to see Rosie and Brae's Mom and Dad today, can't believe their girls are ten and nine now....time just flies by! Xx Xxx

BigEars So your wife doesn't fancy a FFP tee shirt. I would willingly buy her one if you did change her mind LOL Why do you think our last boy we lost a year ago was called "Ollie" as in "another fine mess you got me into" (from Laurel & Hardy) He made the 4th in our household at the time! But he bought such joy to us and the only difference it made with 4 was feeding times took a bit longer to set up . We all want Nick to find his home but you can do no more and "her indoors must be obeyed" if you want a peaceful life. Obviously my husband didn't LOL but I cannot push my luck at the moment . Thanks for trying xx
