So very sad to hear you have had to say goodbye to Badger. She was a lovely girl. God bless his newest, naughty Angel. Lots of love Kate Xxx

On Saturday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Badger. She lost the use of her back legs and sadly there was no way back. She was a huge character and the sassiest greyhound I have known. She adored people and would probably have preferred to have her humans to herself, rather than being one of four. I want to say rest easy sweetheart, but I suspect she is causing havoc wherever she is. I have spent the last seven years picking white hair off my clothes and am utterly heartbroken that I will never have to do that again.

Wishing Badger a very Happy Birthday! xxx

Happy birthday Badger! April Fools Day seems quite an appropriate birthday for the most boingy in your face greyhound I have ever met. A single handed demolition expert but much loved and currently fast asleep with her head on my shoulder.

Sounds as though you are having lots of fun in your new home Badger! xxx

My day by Badger (Ridge) aged 4 and three quarters and a bit more:
Domestic science - stole dog meat (cooked) from kitchen, then dog meat (frozen) also from kitchen (are they stupid or what?)
Interior design - chewed remote control and some curtain tie backs (not stylish at all, I've done the Aged Parents a favour)
PE - legged it into the garden with APs pork chops
Fashion - liberated mum's shoe from upstairs into garden.
Mentoring - showing the new girl (Lena now Nina) how things are done around here!
Feeling a bit tired now, must go for a snooze.
Love Badge xx

Well we made a trip to the kennels today to start the ball rolling to find a playmate for Foxy as our beloved Joey has bone cancer. Surprise surprise we arrived with two and left with three. It seems as though Ridge arrived from Nottingham this morning and we removed her mid afternoon! Currently curled up on the sofa with us as though she has been here for years. Jane & Joe xx

So very sorry for your loss. It’s easy to tell from the words you have written that she will leave a massive hole in your day to day lives. Hang on to all those happy memories xx
