Such sad news. Thinking of Belle's mum who must be devastated to have had such a short time with her. On the positive side, this girl who arrived at Daybreaks in sad circumstances knew love and kindness while they were together. Rest in peace Belle xxx

I have just had the saddest phone call to let me know Belle was sadly put to sleep yesterday. She had become extremely unwell and the vets found she had a tumour in her stomach so to stop her suffering it was the kindest thing to do. Run free special girl xxxxxx

Hi HorseyAnne, glad you will continue to visit the wesite and that you have room in your heart for another lovely grey in the future. I understand how the story must have upset you, you should have seen me on the journey back to the kennels (total emotional wreck) x Belle is beautiful and hopefully she and Boo won't have to wait too long for their forever sofa's ! Fingers crossed x x x
Sunday 10 Mar 11:30
Thanks Sarah. I know that Ruth and all the volunteers do a fantastic job. And I will continue to visit the website. It's a shame I'm not ready to rehome another grey myself just yet. I'm hoping to reduce my workng hours later in the year - then guess what - I will give another beautiful grey a forever sofa!! My last grey was fawn so that's what upset me so much about Belle and Boo. She is so gorgeous I'm sure she will be snapped up soon. xxx
Sunday 10 Mar 11:05
safe now i hope you and boo are rehomed together love to you...xxxxx
Friday 08 Mar 21:16
Hey HorseyAnn, u and me both - don't stop visiting as it all of us that care that make it what it is xxx They will be both well loved and cared for until their "proper" forever homes come along, would be nice if that is together but knowing what I do, they will be lucky in their new homes even if it is apart, this would be a good result for both of them seeing as they may have died twice :-( Thank goodness for Daybeaks, all their past is well and truely behind them, only love and cuddles on the road forward - lets all give Belle and Boo some positive vibes and keep them warm and loved tonight xxxxxx
Friday 08 Mar 19:37
OMG - I'm going to have to stop visiting this website - this story actually made me cry. These poor beautiful dogs. I hope they can be rehomed together. They deserve lots of TLC and get my cuddle today. xx

Belle is the splitting image of our Rosie. Those sweet brown eyes look right into your sole and fawns have the most beautiful soft fur. You're safe now my darling. xx
Thursday 07 Mar 18:20
I have a little girl called Belle who is also fawn and looks a lot like this little angel, who also came to Daybreaks under nasty circumstances, but had had a very happy ending, I'm sure this will be true of this beauty aswell. xxx
Thursday 07 Mar 11:21
Welcome Belle, safe at Daybreaks now. Your name is very apt 'tres belle' :) xx
Thursday 07 Mar 10:24
Beautiful name for a beautiful girl...her companion looks lovely too! Such sad circumstances but thank God they found Daybreaks! I'd snap them up in a flash if I was looking for another two! xxx
Thursday 07 Mar 09:35
Have just read about you and Boo. Cannot believe it. Some people don't deserve the love of a beautiful animal.
Will give Gemma a big hug next time I see her.
Thursday 07 Mar 07:38
I hope boo and belle can be Rehomed together as it sounds as if they have been together a while xx
Wednesday 06 Mar 21:49
That has made me shiver and hug my two a little tighter tonight. They both look truly beautiful and are sure to be found the most wonderful homes now they're under Ruth's wings. Mand x
Wednesday 06 Mar 21:35
I had the privilege to walk this beautiful girl this afternoon. She was a treasure and had a good old sniff at everything in the lane. She and Boo tucked into their supper too and then settled down in their snug kennel. Such awful circumstances bring her to us, but she's safe now with plenty of cuddles coming her way. xx
Wednesday 06 Mar 21:00
Such a sad story. Looking forward to dishing out lots of TLC to Belle ANC Boo.
Wednesday 06 Mar 20:59
Belle is a lovely girl, as soon as she saw us when we collected her she jumped up to give kisses, she is a little girl but her character is HUGE, she will blossom at DB. Good luck little one with finding your forever home, u deserve it so much xxxx
Wednesday 06 Mar 20:31
Poor belle xx
Wednesday 06 Mar 19:22
Belle gets a special cuddle today.....what a sad face. But happy times ahead for this lucky girl. For Boo too, extra hugs.
Wednesday 06 Mar 19:11
Oh, thank goodness they are in the safe hands at Daybreaks, they look like two beauties.
Wednesday 06 Mar 19:07
Boo and Belle have arrived today at Daybreaks after being collected from Worcester by Steve and Sarah, two of our volunteers. It is a very long and sad story but cutting it short, they are lucky to be alive as one of the previous owners threatened to hang them and they have been apparently living in the back of a car for over a month. Thank you to Pip Singleton and Margaret Stocken for aiding their rescue and helping them come to Daybreaks.
