Joey is back at the kennels. He has been in a foster home for many months now and Bernie and Mick who have been fostering him have done a fantastic job looking after him. However, not being at the kennels has meant that Joey has not found a home yet and this is what he desperately needs. He is a young fella - will be 2 in March and is full of happiness. He loves everyone and everything so if you could offer him a home - please give us a call.....

Thank you all for your kind comments ive not heard from the family who showed interest so i can only assume they have changed their mind joey has now started to follow mick around so detachment may be starting up to now im sure his been thinking im his girl friend he seems calmer the past couple of days and isnt trying to be the only one to get fusd! His also given up his favourite night time sleep spot to one if the girls another move forward. He still loves to kiss us when we wake and at other times in the day and we have daily collections of an assortment of items which are found on his bed. IN particular he loves shoes and wellies and toys. I really do love joey his smart wants to please a.nd adores the girls and his so cute. since sunday theres been less bouncing another step forward and on am walkies his just wagged his tail at the chaps we pass before he would try to get to them and play! Wow, you have made such progress with Joey. How wonderful to read how well he is doing. Daisydog and I would like the harness and lead to go with Joey to his new owners. It's important for continuity for Joey. If you or joeys new mum or dad would like to make a donation to auntie Ruth that would be lovely. The seaside is just right and we are loving it.
Paws crossed for Joey. Dd sends woofs and licks.xx

Saw the lovely Joey at training yesterday. HUGE respect to his foster parents for the time and care and love being given to this bouncy boy! I wondered if anyone had a big enclosed space - I think I mean you Bertie and Blades mum! - where Joey could do some safe running and tire himself out a bit. And his foster mum could just watch and have a mug of tea and a biscuit! Perhaps it would help get that fabulous boy through his teenage moments!.....xxxx

Hi paws up from puppy joe! a big thankyou to all of you who have let my foster parents know you are following my progress a big puppy woof ti say thanks i didnt realise i had so many fans so id better let you know whats been occuring! tuesday on the way back from the park the girls srarted barking they were watching awhite thing my foster mum called a cat so i saw it then looked at the girls then the white thing then the girls i csn only say i was confused . Com what was all that about! i managed to catch a daddy long legs n munched it! Think it should have had some salt n pepper though not quite a la carte! I played with the girls i fetched the tennis ball back when playing fetch practiced down and stayed off my foster parents bed all night but once i knew they were awake i dived on them whst fun ! on wednesday the girls barked at another furry thing i think that was a cat too still dont get it! Decided i love weetabix with burns for breakkie did lots more playing in the garden and today when my foster mum opened the shower curtain she saw me! Ive done it learned to open the bathroom door myself !!!" i know im doing the best i can i answer to my name wait with the girls on walkies when im told to andi keep asking for cuddles! my foster mum is using simple solution to clean (purchased from day breaks) and she looked at the picture on the bottle ive been rumbled my previous modeling job has been noted well im off to have some treats now but ill check in with you all soon ! puppy paws till later x

Hi all joey fans over the past two days this handsome lad has let me place tooth paste on his teeth and gentley rub them he loves the meaty flavour which i purchase from day breaks he has also learned down it only took 48 hours! When walking he places himself between the girls and he loves investigating. he has worked out that once we are asleep he can sneak onto the bed! He then kisses us a zillion timeswhen we wake but he does come when you call him. Joey likes to follow me around and his foster dad and after going to work today he cuddled up with his foster dad. He was left for a couplle of hours with the girls and once home he was like a coiled spring loads of kisses and excitement and he wasso happy to see me. Joey loves play over the past two days he has had such fun with the girls he loves toys and rugs and we have given him a fleece blanket so he can carry this instead of the rugs! Joey is a smart and gentle boy he is still a pup and he needs loads of attention intetaction guidance and training applying our dog trainers methods are proving to be positive. He responds to positive rewards -sausages in particular. he loves pilchards dental chews and belly rubs are a firm favourite! One of our girls can open the bathroom door and he follows her in to check up where you are. Joey is amazing slippers and gloves are great fun hehas tried to nibble our ankles and fingers a firm leave it works and a big fuss when he does so is given to him. He loves hugs and is interested in everything you do. i will send an update soon and to all joey fans a big puppy paw high five !

So friendly with everyone who came to say hello (and there were lots!) and not bothered by any other dogs. He is an absolute cuddle monster!!
He was so well behaved...totally relaxed - he even had a little snooze at 1 point. If there was a space at our, this little man would be filling it...hope he gets his forever home soon.

It really has been the hardest decision I've ever made but Joey is such a gorgeous boy and will make such a fantastic addition to any family. Within the short time he has been a part of our family, he has been a delight and very easy to train as he is keen to impress (and of course get treats)!! x

Oh ray so sorry it didn,t work out for you and your new family but on the plus side for me I get to see that lovely happy face and waggy tail again- if there was room in my house I would have you in a heart beat but I,m sure with your personality you won,t be back for long xx

Heartbroken that due to a change in family circumstances that we need to find another home for Joey (Ray). I cannot express how amazing Joey is, he is adorable. Since he came to live with us, he settled into a routine within a day or so and knows his name really well. He lets you know when he needs to do his 'business' outside and the last few days has started to catch his rubber toys and bring them back to us (of course waiting for his treat afterwards)! Joey is a joy to take for a walk, never pulls on the lead and when I say 'wait' he stops straight away. There has been no mess in the house and he even likes to help with the hoovering and dusting too! Really hope there is someone who will love and take care of Joey as he is very special indeed and it is heartbreaking that we can no longer keep him with us

Joey (ray) has been an absolute star! He slept all night and has helped with the housework this morning :) He is not bothered about going upstairs but did try it and my son had to carry him down which was very funny! It's like he has been part of our family for years x

We took Ray to Ludlow yesterday for a walk around the town. He walked well on the lead, interested in everything and everybody. He'd never seen so much activity and people. His tail wagged thinking everyone he met was going to make a fuss of him. He deserves a good home where he can be given lots of love and attention. He is a smashing boy!

Ray has been with us for nearly a week now. Despite being a bit lively at first, he has calmed down so much and now chills with the other greyhounds. He loves to carry things, and today helped me carry the bag of grass cuttings. He has adapted to home life brilliantly and is house trained. He loves walks, the country air, rabbits, and other people. He will make a fabulous addition to any family. Will keep you updated on his progress and hopefully post some photos if he stays still long enough!

Thought I would tidy Ray and Shelly's kennel before I went home tonight... As I put the blankets back on the bed Ray took them off again one by one! He is a fantastic young lad, I hope it won't be long before his forever home comes along, I am sure there will never be a dull moment with him! Xxx

Met Ray at Stratford today - what a cuddle monster.
He is gorgeous.
He was well behaved from what I saw of him, but he was at the front and I was towards the rear of the group with Amber.
Considering he is no more than a pup, he is going to be a superb addition to someones family!!

He is one very happy, lively puppy (as he should be)although he did try to eat my carrot cake off the picnic table today!!
This boy will be a wonderful addition to the right home and has a very rosy future ahead of him.

Ray is a big bundle of fun & cuddles!! Such a happy boy, he is sharing nicely with Shelly and just loves people to go into the kennel so he can give you a kiss! He is very keen to get out on a walk, but soon settles down and is interested in everything! He is only a baby and so is lively and up for playing all the time, bless him he's gorgeous! xx
