We have just got back from adopting our Archie (a.k.a Flicka), really happy now we have Wilf and Archie as they are both good for each other. Can't wait to see Archie's re-homed pic, as Wilf & Archie are wearing their new fluffy fleeces, Wilf looks like a polar bear in his!! xox

Looking forward to tomorrow to give (archie) ficka a place called home,he has ticked all the boxes with flying colours.well done archie we are so pleased xx

Gave flicka a bath last night,don't think he has ever been up stairs before,had to carry him up and back down ! He is doing just great,gets on with wilf really well and he ain't bothered about the cats,so happy days here !

Thankyou maccasmum,Flicka is doing great,he is so chilled out,him and wilf getting on great,and wilf never got up till 7.15 again ! flicka has not bothered with the cats at all,and he is a pleasure to walk.so everything is going great and we are so happy because we really want to give him a home x

Soooo glad you have Flicka with you, it was a pleasure to walk him, but there seemed to no connection between him and Macca. Flicka is a lovely boy, and I really hope things work out for you. Congrats on the lie-in, I bet you could get used to it!

hi ruth,well what a difference ! wilf slept till 7.15 this morning,first time since we have had him,looks like flicka has done the trick,he is so chilled out and he slept well too.hope you are feeling better soon x

Hi Choc - what are you feeding Wilf and how much water are you adding to his food? Sometimes it can just be the fact that they are used to company so hopefully having Flicka might help the problem - please give me a call or keep us updated here.... it is not great being up in the night (erm... as you can see from the time of this post) - it is not Reuben keeping me up (he is sleeping like a baby) just my miserable streaming cold - hey ho - a good excuse to catch up with paperwork for me eh?!

Well it was great to see all the people and greyhounds turn out for the walk at suton park today,it was our first of many to come,we took our wilf and took flicka home too ! he is doing great with wilf and hope its the start of a great freindship. flicka met 2 of the cats as well ,without any problems,thanks to ruth and norman for giving us a chance to give him a new home,sorry norman if you didnt make the pub ! lol.just a question if anyone has any advice,wilf sleeps about 3 hrs at night then needs a wee so we take it in turns getting up about 3 letting him out,we have tried him sleeping in a fleece but no difference,any ideas would be helpful ty xx

Really enjoyable walk at Sutton Park today with a great turnout of dogs and their 'hoomans'.
Well done to all who helped set up.Fabulous array of refreshments.
Flicka came for a day out from Daybreaks and never went back !
He's gone off with his new pal Wilf to meet the cats. Hopefully all will go well and he's found his forever home.
He is a lovely well mannered lad who was a delight to take out.

Well done Flicka it was lovely to meet you today, I know you are being fostered with Wilf and your 'foster parents' are lovely be a good boy with the cats and you never know...... you have certainly landed on your feet !! xx

Walked down the lane with Flicka today. He was perfect on the lead. Walked calmly and gently by my side. His ears went up when he saw something interesting, but no pulling at all. I hear he is 'cat friendly' too. What a lovely boy. I know his family will be feeling very sad but hoping he will be re-homed very soon. Lots of love Flicka.

So sorry for Flicka and his family. Xxx

Sadly Flicka has been returned this morning due to ill health of a family member. He is good with cats, children and totally house trained. The family are devastated at having to return him.
