Well having had Goldie (now Hollie) for 36 hours now, she has been absolutely amazing. She did the Morrisons roadshow with us yesterday and lapped up the attention.Even more amazing is that she is half sister to one of my other dogs George, They were born in Scotland and were kennelled together there and in their racing kennels until George went to Daybreaks for rehoming 3 years ago, They stared their lives together and now they will live out their lives together with us. I knew none of this when we first saw her and its obviously fate that has bought them back together, We will be intouch Ruth to sort out signing her up later in the week. Thanks xx

whoooo hoooooo we have cracked it!!!!!! After the first 2 initial nights of crying, then 2 nights of her sleeping upstairs, Goldie slept downstairs last night without a sound! She can be left during the day for short periods without stressing and loves playing. I do think she would suit a young family as she is playful, loving and very happy. She has learnt (almost) not to jump up on the sides or steal food and is totally clean whenever left - day or night. She met the cats yesterday and was really good with them and has been fine with Sara's non greys Louis and Charlie. I really hope someone can offer this very beautiful greyhound a home soon....... if you are interested, please give me a call on 0121 782 7702 - Ruth

Goldie came home with me on Sunday (the day she arrived) as she was very very stressed in the kennel. She was speyed at Fivelands yesterday and spent another night at ours. Although getting better, she is a very stressed little girl and I have been up all night with her again as she keeps crying. Only to be expected though as she has gone through a big change in her life as well as an operation. Hopefully the herbal calming tablets I have given her this morning will help her a little - and if not, I will have some ha ha! Bring on the coffee!!!!!!!!!!!

My goodness what an incredible looking girl - she could be the twin of our Shane, it was a bit of a shock to see her photo to be honest as she looks so much like our gorgeous boy. Looking forward to meeting her. xxx
