Unfortunately Woody is back from his foster home. He has been golden and can be left, he is very affectionate and has been great with Ned the Greyhound. However he has not been good around the 3 year old grandchild and therefore we are desperate to find this fella a home with grown up or no children....... Please help!

A friend posted a clip about Woody on my Facebook page - he sounds adorable x I'm not sure what type of home would best suit Woody, we have a cat free (haha) home with a decent garden and could offer lots of love! We do have two young daughters though, don't know how he would feel about that? I'm sure they would be over the moon to make his acquaintance though! Maybe I could contact you properly to discuss further?

Woody was so good with my little Jess and Sunny,Norah and Alberto in the kitchen the other day and Jess was right in his face his such a lovely boy xxx

l don't think anyone would consider you selfish Ruth. You do so much for the kennel dogs, as well as your own !!! l'm sure there must be someone out there who could offer Woody a loving home. For anyone who hasn't met him...he is a gorgeous boy...and has the most amazing long, thin, pointy nose, and his overshot jaw gives him cuteness by the bucket load. Please everyone...if you are considering adopting...take a look at this boy...we have to find him his own sofa before Xmas !!!!!!!

Please please please someone, offer this gorgeous boy a home. He has settled in well here and can be left for several hours through the day but is happy with the company of our 5 greys. He sleeps downstairs at night and walks really well on the lead. He is good with small breeds but sadly not cat friendly.

I currently have a poorly Joe who needs some extra TLC, Basil who is really quite wobbly and post op boy Flash. If anyone was able to offer Woody a home (permanent or foster) I would be soooooooo grateful.... It sounds selfish, but the Boswell babes need my undivided attention at the moment and our house is booked with more post ops on Thursday so I feel owe it to them in their twilight years to give them a quieter life.

I don't want to leave Woody at the kennels after all he has been through - he is such a good boy and just needs a home to call his own x

Woody was with us this weekend he was wonderful good on the lead got on with our greys loved cuddles and had a little play he liked mays toy bunny which he carried for a little while and we didn't know we had him. I can see how easy it is to love this boy his so gentle and well behaved. His lovely face with his overshot jaw is gorgeous and he was so gentle when he took treats from my hand. woody is a very special boy who could bring much happiness to a loving person. Woody is back 'home' - I am so grateful to Bernie and Mick who have looked after him for the weekend. He has come in, unfortunately done a wee in the lounge but hey ho - it can be cleaned up! He is putting on weight and is currently crashed out already next to Joe and Maggie..... he is gorgeous. Bernie tells me he has been golden at their house - please someone - offer this gorgeous fella a home xxxx

What can I say about the GORGEOUS Woody?! I left him for 4 hours today - however constantly checking on the cameras to check he was settled - and he was. No toileting accidents and nothing chewed - phew!

He slept soundly last night downstairs with our gang and ate a fabulous breakfast of pork chops and creamy mash along with his Burns (special treat for all as it was Basil's gotcha day). He had a walk this morning and is fabulous on the lead.

He gave me the first wag of his tail when I got home just after lunch and happily sprinted upstairs after me for a paperwork session this afternoon. He is golden...... please someone - offer him a home - he would love the company of other dogs and older children.

Woody, glad to see you are having a nice stay at Ruth's. Didn't like to think of you being stressed at the kennels. Foster offer still open for Sunday if necessary (providing you do not chew my hair!) Xx

Ah Woody, I wish I could foster but hubby says two greys are enough, shall have too work on him, cause I now have TWO greys and he did say one was enough!!!!!!

Sadly Woody is back at the kennels as his foster family have some family commitments that meant he was becoming unsettled and they felt this was unfair on him. He has behaved very well with them, loves to play and got on very well with their other Grey. I know what you mean, Ruth he just looks so forlorn... I have a soft spot for undershot jaw, pointy nose faces (he reminds me of my beautiful Droopys Grace, although she was fawn). We have four at home and one recent retiree waiting to come home otherwise I'd snap him up in a heartbeat!Surely this boy deserves some luck and a loving family to call his own... I have to confess, I asked my friend Maggie if she would foster this amazing, beautiful boy...... so he is going later today to Bromsgrove. I don't know what it is about him but he breaks my heart...... he really needs some weight on and a home to call his own but a foster home is all I can get him for now..... Please please someone - give this wonderful boy a forever home.....

Woody enjoyed a very pleasant holiday with our grunds at the caravan in Wales and was great company. It took him a couple of days to fully chill and take notice of strange noises, sights and smells. He showed interest initially in the rabbits which live on the site but got used to them after a few days and was quite happy sitting and watching through the window. I don’t think he has socialised with many different breeds and seemed more curious than nervous when seeing other dogs.
Not one accident throughout the week and no problems at all when left for short periods. Woody is only back at Daybreaks due to our work commitments.
I’m sure you won’t be there for long, Woody.

Can someone please rehome this doggie ASAP Mrs B is utterly in love with him but there is no room at the Boswell Inn at present . Everytime she looks at him she wells up so for her sanity we need to find him an extra special home pronto.

Woody has gone to Wales for the week for some serious TLC and he is having a wonderful time. Oh Woody darling......you are in a home somewhere!! It may not (on the other hand it MAY ;-) ) be your forever home, but I'm sure you'll be happier there after already having been in foster.
As wonder as Daybreaks Hound Hotel is, when they've been in a home it must be strange to be back in kennels again.....mind you, I don't think they mind that much - they get cared for so well at Daybreaks!
