Ravi had a lovely walk in elmdon with Myself and Tilly (mini schnauzer), Lucy, her mum and Scooby (mini schnauzer)! He wasn't bothered about having both small dogs running off lead around him, lots of different dogs coming up to say hello to him and aswell as their humans and children popping to say hi. Big hugs Ravi, your special home is out there somewhere. Just need to find a special family to have you xxx

After morning walks were done this morning, I wondered where Lucy was, she is volunteering at the kennels as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. I found her in Ravi's kennel, she was sitting on the bed with Ravi's head and shoulders sprawled over her lap and his paws over her arm. She was gently stroking his head and they stayed like that for a good 25 minutes or so. It was very quiet in the kennels this morning and he seemed to really enjoy the contact and peace, his eyes were closing and he looked so content. Lucy felt quite guilty at "doing nothing", but what she was doing was so important for Ravi and his well being. It isn't often there is the time to just sit with the dogs in this way so thanks to Lucy for this extra special helping of TLC today.x

Hi all Ravi here... Had a wonderful day out at warwick road show.. John/Mary really looked after me well and I loved the car trip from Daybreaks kennels.. Weather could have been better but met other greys and mingled well with all the generous people making donations and buying gifts.. I went back to the kennels later and had a nice cuddle with Mary as a thank=you... heres to the next time...Love Ravi.. xxx

I took Ravi out today and he is so easy to walk. We had a right laugh getting his collar on as he wouldn't stop licking my face. Super boy who would fit in anywhere. This one gets more than his fair share of attention and for good reason.

Where do we begin when starting to gush about this gorgeous, loving boy? We were lucky enough to (at separate times) sit cuddling Ravi today. He is so gentle and has soulful eyes (talking to you through them). If we had the room, he'd have been coming home with us today. Can't speak highly enough about you beautiful boy and we are watching closely to see that you choose a loving family to adopt who will cherish you and lavish you with love. Well Ravi is such a lovely boy. I cannot imagine what it was like to have to give him up but he will get all our love. He is sleeping in the lounge right now and he has given us loads of cuddles already. Ravi is our 3rd Grey and the biggest yet a real gentle giant.Rest assured he will be spoilt and well looked after.

This boy is so gentle, he loved our walk in the fields this morning and was a good as gold : no pulling on the lead, great with all of the greyhounds and just a gorgeous chilled out lad! Please don't be put off by his size he is ever so gentle and loving x

Please do not be put off by the size of some of these hounds my one dog Lottie is very leggy but curls up into a very small 'ball' on the lounge carpet.

Oh Ravi, you get our cuddle today. So sorry things didn't work out for you. You remind me so much of our lovely Flash; big, white and black and love cuddles. If only we had room and a big enough bank account, you would be sharing the floor with Ripple & Toney tomorrow night.

First of all, so sorry to hear the story of his return, it must have been quite distressing for all concerned.

We saw this boy today as we picked up Charlotte for her holiday. We were told that Charlotte (our grey) got on well. He is a very beautiful dog stand tall, but he is so loving and gentle. Seems to also enjoy getting attention and cuddles. If we could I think we would have taken him, but not sure our landlord would let us. He is certainly great with our Charlotte and sure he would be with any other dog. A loving gently giant, who I hope will soon find a home.

Due to unforeseen circumstances sadly Ravi has been returned today. His owners are distraught. They would like everyone to know he is a super dog. Gets on well with other dogs and can be left on his own. They say he is the best dog they have ever had the pleasure to own. So very sorry for all concerned. Xxx

Lovely Ravi, why are you still there? Have done my level best to persuade the other half we need another hound but all to no avail! Sure you are not going to be there for long though and shanesmem is right, you do the cutest little dances sometimes but otherwise walk so well I sometimes have to check you're still on the end of the lead! xx

Had the pleasure of taking my handsome boy on his afternoon walk today. He stood beautifully to have his lead on then trotted along at my side, not bothered at all by the traffic whizzing past or the huge planes taking off overhead! He spotted a bag or something blowing in the distance and did such a cute little dance with his front paws, but was soon back to trotting at my side, and he is tall enough for me to give his ears a stroke as we walk along! Ravi arrived today when we were at the Kennels - what a lovely boy - very gentle with our 9 year old Scott as he was in his Kennel and he seemed absolutley fine with him. He does like company - Hopefully your Forever home is just around the corner. (Couldn't persuede Mrs Billings !!) Good luck xxx
