Have recieved a lovely e mail today from Nelsons owners, he has now been renamed Siegfried and is officially rehomed! Yeah. He has settled very well and they adore him.

Hi patsyDior, Nelson is in trial with his new owners to see how he gets on living with the cats. He should be signed up within a few weeks xx

Has Nelson been rehomed then? He is such a lovely lad.

Have had an update from Nelsons owners. He is settling really well, being very good with the cats and the other two greys in the house, he even made it up the stairs, coming down wasn't quite so easy! It's so lovely to know he has found his forever sofa.

Nelson you are a lovely big soft lad and deserve your forever sofa, but then all the dogs do, but you did capture my attention, you are so affectionate. Good job there was no room in the car!

Nelson is very special...he is a big lad but very gentle. He spent some time in the kitchen with Sara's Charlie and Louis this afternoon and even sat like a "proper" dog! He was cat tested again today; he was very good and may be able to live with a cat with a little extra training. Just perfect! Xxx

Nelson really is a lovely lad. Both myself and Andy went to see him and he was open to any fuss going. Hope he'll be homed soon x J

Amazed this very handsome boy is still at the kennels! Had some lovely quick cuddles with him whilst bringing Monty up after the walk, and he is so soft too! Fingers crossed he'll be going to his forever home soon x

Nelson spent the afternoon in the office with me today. I have uploaded some more pics of this beautiful gental boy.... He is great with other dogs and may even, possibly be , may be cat friendly as we tested him this afternoon. We will test him again in the week before confirming. xxx
