I got to meet Amy properly today and took her for a walk with some of the others. She was obviously happy to be out in the wider world and she does seem to have a bit of an interest in watching the rugby being played too (not for the first time apparently). She leapt a couple of times when we first got out but then she settled down and walked along with no problems. A lovely girl

Nearly forgot this little poppet....don't know why....but whenever l visit kennels, she seems to be on her walk !!! l Think she is trying to avoid me !!! Don't really blame her ...even l try to avoid me !!!!!!!!! I'm sure she is just gorgeous...but l am biased when it comes to this beautiful breed. For me, they just embody everything that a dog should be :
Grace...power...strength...cuteness...loyalty..
and above all...real character. As you can probably tell by now, l have a serious addiction, but it is an addiction that l am never, ever , going to seek a cure for. XXX.

In the end We Didn't see Amy this week but when we saw her last week and spent well over an hour with her she really was the sweetest hound. Such a cutie and a small sized girl. Very friendly nature and enjoyed her fuss. Bet she will make a fabulous pet for a very lucky owner. ;-)

Hoping (unless it snows as we are traveling from Derby!) to come see u again tomorrow Amy and hoping my Ruby (formly pixie who we rehomed from daybreaks 4 years ago) is a little less skittish & snappy this time when you do some bottom sniffing. I will try and remember a few treats for you again as you did seem to rather like them! Lots of fuss from me to you. And fingers crossed Ruby might enjoy your company in the run this time.Xx

This cute little girl was very wary and skittish when she arrived, but what a difference a week makes! Still a little bit wary of sudden moves around her head, she is so much better after spending the week in the company of the handsome Mel, now dashing up for a fuss and making sure she doesn't miss out on any kisses that may be going! Whilst closing up on Friday evening, we spotted her sitting in the kennel starting to rag one of her blankets, when we called to her to stop she turned her head, both ears cocked up, and gave us such a cheeky look as if to say "Me, but I'm not doing anything!" Bless her, she's a real cutie. xx
