Hi Ziggy, have changed Marti's name on the computer to Kudu...sounds very exotic! So happy to hear he and Misty are getting on well together. He is a very loveable lad. :) Xxx

Marti settled well in the house and garden. He is enjoying Misty's company and vice versa. He is excited on walks, other dogs rabbits and squirrels to see. His ears are so stiffly erect we have renamed him Kudu as he looks like an antelope (type of African antelope)

Marti does look very cute in his t-shirt...he is one of those boys who sits very quietly and takes a back seat when visitors come to the kennels. Do hope he won't have to wait too much longer for his special home. Xxx

I have got the lovely Marti at home with me at the moment. He has been here since Monday after his kennel mate decided to fall out with him :-( He has a couple of minor bite wounds around his neck which I treated but I still had checked by the vets but he only needed antibiotics as a precaution. He is wearing a t-shirt to protect him and is healing well.

He is being such a good boy - very settled, is getting so much better on his short walks around the park with other breeds. As our longest stayer, I hope someone will offer him a home soon x

I agree Marti needs his chance of a forever home now...he seems to have been forgotten Feel so sad for those that wait soooo long They deserve more Sending my hug to you gorgeous x x

I walked Marti again today. He's a lovely boy who again seemed quite interested in the rugby that was going on when we went past. A tiny fluffy dog was almost too much for him part way along the walk but I had him on a short lead so all was ok. All in all, he is a lovely boy x J

Marti, along with most of the other boys donated blood to the Pet Blood Bank today. His donation will be used to help a sick dog in need of a transfusion. He is now officially a Life Saver!:)) Xxx

I met Marti today and took him on his walk. He was quite a strong lad when I first got out of the kennel and had been leaping all over the place when I was trying to put his lead on. He was a little excited I think. Once walking, he was fine but did start pulling a little bit when we all went on a slightly extended walk to normal - again, excitement I think. He was certainly not uncontrollable, just choking himself a bit. He was also interested in the game at the rugby club - I think he might like to chase around after a ball. Lovely happy boy x J

Marti is such a good boy in the new sand run. He loves to run and play with Louis (occasionally stealing his favourite ball on the rope - louis is not a fan of that) especially when they play tug of war together x

Sending my cuddle to gorgeous Marti tonight, he is doing a great job of looking after his shy kennel mate Billy B. Xxx
