We met Belle yesterday on our New Years Walk. I knew she wouldn't be long finding a home, so cuddly and well behaved in the pub :-) xx

Great news for Belle finding her forever home. Shes a girl with great character who will love an active family life.
With both her and Heath now happily homed having been so close to being PTS it sums up what Daybreaks is all about.
2 wonderful greys now with happy future lives. Fantastic !!

I am over the moon! Little Miss Belle has gone out to a new home this morning. It has cheered me up no end on this horrible, wet, miserable day! Good luck bobba Belle x

Madam Belle was at it again this morning! Deciding sitting on the concrete floor waiting for her kennel to be ready was just not the done thing - she pulled a blanket down off the side of the run and promptly lay down on it!! She is such a cheeky, lively cuddle monster I really hope that her forever sofa is just around the corner. Big kisses for you gorgeous. xx

Belle got fed up of waiting for her kennel to be cleaned this morning...she decided to pull the washing down off the side of the run to sit on until we had finished! She looked very comfy! Xxx

Great to hear Belle had a Christmas treat today. She really is a smashing girl...reminds me of my Twiggy when she was her age...happy, bouncy and loves everyone! Xxx

Belle has today paid a Christmas Eve visit to Brueton Park in Solihull.
She travelled perfectly in the car jumping in and lying quietly besides kennel companion Heath until we arrived at the park.
She is quite keen on the lead and walks best with it doubled across her chest ( a harness would be an alternative).
She met several different breeds without showing any aggression whatsoever. We did not have the opportunity for her to meet very small fluffy dogs but her behaviour towards the other breeds suggests there shouldnt be a problem.
Squirrels however do excite her.
She is an extermely affectionate people friendly girl who would make a perfect companion for anyone happy to handle a strong girl who with the right training will definately settle in time. She could most certainly live with other dogs.
Hopefully her permanent home which she so deserves will arrive soon as Heath who she was rescued from being PTS with is reserved and will be homed in the near future.

Unfortunately Belle is definitely not cat friendly but she is lovely! X

Joandladysmum, not sure what she is like with cats but can check her tomorrow if that helps, give us a call at the kennels tomorrow.

I have a daybreak's grey (Radiant Lady) and a rescue Pointer Lurcher but lost Lady's brothert o the bridge I October> I get the impression that belle is good with other dogs but do you have any idea what she is like with cats please as I have three. thank you

Belle is such a lovely, cheeky girl who will lap up any amount of fuss you can give. She is very playful - on Friday Heath was taking it easy lying on the floor of the kennel and she decided that was boring and they really needed to play! She bounded in to him, back end up in the air, barking at him to "come & play" - he just raised his head, looked at her and promptly went back to sleep!! What a lovely pair they are. xxxxx
