I took the very handsome Dandy to Elmdon Park this afternoon. He was more than happy to get in the car and jumped out very easily when we got there. He walked beautifully and seemed to enjoy the new sights and smells very much. We met lots of dogs and he behaved perfectly. He was a bit more interested (but in no way aggressive) with the small dogs, but to be fair to him, they were that small, he probably didn't recognise them as dogs!! He stood and accepted fuss from the various people we met and he seems to be trying a new tactic. I have the impression that he is fed up waiting for his new home and has decided the proactive approach is best. By that I mean that he tried to go off with everyone who stopped to give him some attention. He has a wonderful temperament and wishing him his forever sofa very soon xx

Thank you for the far too quick cuddle that we had today adorable Dandy. Keeping fingers & toes crossed that your new family are just about to walk into Daybreaks. Big hugs beautiful, xx

Love this boy. So nicely behaved, walks well and loves cuddles. Only bad thing is he never wants me to leave him in his kennel on our return and it makes me sad. Sending him my cuddle today. xx

Dandy wins my Clean Kennel Award for the second week in a row! He should also get the cheeky award too - bored with waiting after his supper, he decided it was best to have a sit down until we were ready to put him away, but being the handsome and regal boy he is, he thought sitting on a concrete floor wasn't the done thing so he pulled a blanket down that was hanging over the bars and promptly lay down on it!!! This evening as I did my final rounds, I found him upside down on his bed, legs wide apart and head buried in a blanket! Lets hope he will soon be having fun in his very own home. Xx

What a very handsome, loving boy Dandy is. Loves to lean against your leg and be fussed. Stood nice and still while I put his lead and collar on and walked beautifully with no pulling. He didn't really want me to put him back in his kennel and insisted on a lot more fuss before letting me go! Gorgeous. xxx

Dandy is a lovely big boy, and my current "Clean Kennel Award" winner at the moment! Just a straighten of the blankets & he's done. He does love a nice lean and a fuss, and is so very handsome. Fingers crossed your new home is just around the corner. xx

Dandy is a lovely boy who seems to be fairly partial to a cuddle or two. His markings are lovely. I took him out for a walk and he was no bother at all and seemed to walk very close to my side. All the best for a happy home soon sweetie x J

Dandy arrived at Daybreaks on April 6th feeling quite a confused boy after leaving his previous kennels and visiting the vets for his neutering but has now settled into life at Daybreaks and today was able to enjoy his first morning out in the big wide world with a visit to Elmdon Park.
He took it all in his stride in a calm relaxed manner meeting dogs of different breeds and sizes without any show of aggression whatsoever.
One very feisty Chihuahua (off the lead) stood right in his face barking at him and Dandy totally ignored him and showed no reaction whatsoever.
He travelled well in the car jumping in on his own and is relaxed on the lead.
For anyone looking to find a dog to enjoy days out in the park or on a relaxed walk this handsome brindle boy would be the perfect companion for you.
