It's official Evie is the female of our greyt pack as of today. Gotcha!

Yes Flutterfan you have got yourselves a beautiful, cheeky bungle of fun with Evie I'm sure. She really is pretty, and I'm sure she keeps Reggie and Ollie on their toes, hope we bump into you sometime at the kennels, would love to meet her xxx

We should have called her Lady Di shamishoo as she is so girlie, bows her head and flutters her eyelashes just like Harry and Will's mom, such a flirt.

We'll be along to kennels this weekend to make it official (even if Evie would eat us out of house and home if allowed and is partial to chewing through PlayStation leads). We still love her.

Greyhounds have a habit of 'multiplying' I was determine to stay at one needless to say I now have two!

Pleased to say that Evie (Genie) is Reggie and Ollie's new sister. She has stolen our hears as well as their food. Three really cannot become four though. There is no more room at the inn or in the car. Funny to think we adopted our first last May. We have well and truly caught the greyhound bug!

Genie has had a very merry Christmas and New Year with us but now it's back to work (for me anyway). I'm up early and so is Genie, always ready for her breakfast or a treat - sometimes she helps herself from your hand or from Ollie or Reggie's mouth. We are working on that! She is a very loving girl who likes nothing better than climbing on your lap for a cuddle and a face lick.

Genie gets more settled everyday. She's even discovered how comfortable sofas as well as Reggie's leather chair (he is such a gentleman). She has been clean in the house apart from once (we are not sure it was her). We were left an extra "present" under the tree so presents have been removed. Her food obsession is calming down too with a firm "no" or "a - ah" to discourage her from grabbing food that hasn't been offered. As festivities approach, we have left her in the house with the boys with no issues at all. Could this be the calm before the storm as her confidence grows? We'll see. Loving having her as part of our greyt family that's for sure.

Genie enjoyed her walk in Stratford. It was a very festive ramble through some beautiful Warwickshire countryside. There were lots of Greys in attendance and some new owners having their first greyhound get-together. Genie was a little unsure at first but soon realised how much fun it was and showed Reggie and Ollie the way for much of the walk. Genie wishes all her new Greyhound friends a very Merry Christmas .

Today we took Genie and the boys to the Stratford Walk. What a beautiful part of the world Clifford is! Apart from a few warning growls when we said hello to some of the other greys and their owners, she did really well. Sheep, Lamas and horses on the walk didn't bother her at all. She travels well, sleeping all the way back then enjoying a scotch egg treat.

Genie getting on great with Reggie and Ollie. One thing we have found out about Genie...she loves her food!!Ollie loves his food too, so she is in good company. Reg is a bit of a fussy eater, bless him. Genie is going on Stratford walk tomorrow. We are really looking forward to taking her.

The odds for a Pre-Xmas Green sign for Genie are shortening by the day. Bookies would have stopped taking bets at this point.

Flutterfan, you must be a great advert for the way hounds get under you skin and take over your home and heart - in just over 6 months you have gone from no grey to 3. Xxx

Genie is a superstar. Enjoyed her walk twice around Langley park today. She has found a nice warm spot which she has made her own in the living room. Ollie and Reggie have been nice to her and everyone getting on really well. What a lovely girl.

I am so excited that Genie has come to stay! Reggie and Ollie are smitten and they are not the only ones. What a beautiful, friendly and calm girl she is. She has found her spot and has already roached. Her trainer is right. She definitely likes her food.
