Hmmmm. Is she anywhere near house trained? I can see she’s been returned to the kennels quite a few times and I like to give the apparent no-hopers a chance, but there is a limit! Xxxxx

I have had a fabulous birthday but one of my best presents is my new Greyhound (thank you Jill Williams). He is called Peanut and I have added a photo of him laying with Georgie...... he is adorable and has settled in well!!!!!!

Yeah stevie&sarah'smum. We tried that....soaked her Burns in a bottle of Beaujolais....it sent her a bit wobbly for a while....then she went very snappy and pee'd on the office floor!!! Hey-ho

Has anybody thought of trying a little red wine!! Just to calm her down. Lol.xx

Oh.....forgot to mention.....looks can be deceptive, this golden oldie is very fit for her age.
She has been rehomed several times already....to a lovely family home in Padstow....where she loved to run along the beach...chasing a ball and frolicking in the sea.......but sadly, due to severe separation anxiety, she keeps being returned to kennels. :-( l am sure there must be a family out there somewhere who would take her...but sadly it can not be us as we just hav'nt got the space!!!

Can anyone tell us if Ruth is cat friendly!!!
We have had our eye on this old girl for quite some time now!! l think after 8 long years at Daybreaks, she really deserves a sofa to call her own. We know she can be very headstrong...but we think with a bit of training, we can soon cure that, and get her to walk nicely to heel. We believe that she is house trained....as long as she is not left too long. Ruth gets our cuddle today. XXX

I think Robbie needs his own Piccy in his outdoor Bed! xxxx

It was quite an unsettled night and this was a reflection of the previous day..... most of the Daybreaks greys were brave yesterday and gave blood as the Pet Blood Bank visited and due to this they only had one walk. Hopefully today, with routine being back to normal we will have a more sleep! :-)

We are home now and survived the night of mega minus temperatures! It was toasty and cosy in the kennel - I had a couple of hot water bottles.... erm..... called Maggie and Penny! We had a few visitors last night as well - I think just to make sure we really were there!

I am just so grateful and thankful to everyone who supported us - I am proud to say we have raised almost £2,500 - absolutely amazing..... THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE xxx
