It was great to see Coffey today...he stayed for the afternoon with his soon to be sister lovely Polly. He has a fan club at the kennels and more than once I found him with some of his devotees enjoying fuss and cuddles loving every moment! :) When Liz, his Foster Mom came back to collect him it was wonderful to hear she was "rather fond of him" and he won't be coming back to Daybreaks! Brilliant! Xxx

Great news but not a surprise. We see Coffey at training on Saturdays and he obviously loves his foster family. He deserved his change in fortune and is a top hound.

Got my wish again, first Benny, now a home for Coffey, over the moon for him, always had a soft spot for this handsome chap, he looks like my Jack, well done fella. Now my next wish is for Nifty!!!!!!!! Xxxxxx

Hi Devon62, Coffey went to my vet in Oxford as the vet used by the kennels thought his 'problems' were behavioural but I didn't agree so my vet had a look at Coffey. He identified some things with Coffey
that have been treated, Coffey is presently on foster and doing really well :)

After Benny, my new wish is to see this handsome lad in his forever home, please somebody give this special boy his sofa xxxxxx

Coffey would probably be best in a home with no children as he can be a little nervous of them.

Omg he is gorgeous. I lost my 2nd greyhound 2 years ago. Swore i wouldnt get another one because it hurt to much when we lost Monty.... but think I'm about to change my mind.... does anyone know if he's good with children? ( the two I've had were fantastic ) and does anyone know why he had to see a vet in Oxford? ( not that it would bother me. ) you definitely get my hug Cofey. Xxx

I agree Shamishoo. I'm sure the right home must be out there somewhere. Coffey gets my cuddle tonight.

Please don't overlook this beautiful boy, makes me so sad that he is still looking for a home, would be great if somebody would give him a chance, he has waited far too long bless him. Xxxxx

Coffey so playful today... Sara played played with him in the run with Charlie,louis,skip and bailey... they had a great time together before the heavens opened! Mary walked coffey this morning no problems and took no notice of the other greys...love u coffey.....xxxxx

Sending my cuddle to Coffey tonight too. We had a very scary incident with him this morning when he managed to get a back leg stuck in the bars of the door to his kennel! Thankfully we were able to free him without him breaking anything or biting us. He was a very frightened boy. He was quite happy to have a pigs ear after his ordeal. Ruth, Lisa and myself could have done with something a little stronger! Phew! Xxx

Very sadly Coffey is no longer reserved. The family who were hoping to take him home are unfortunately not able to do so at the moment. He is a really lovely boy so hopefully it won't be long before finds his forever home. Xxx

Coffey's prospective owners are desperate to take him home but are not able to at the moment. We have agreed to give them some extra time but hope he will soon be in his forever home. Xxx

Oh my, what a sweetie this boy is. Still very quiet, and quite wary, he will look right at you with those gorgeous eyes. He can be a bit reluctant to go back in his kennel too - needs a bit of gentle persuasion bless him. xx

Met Coffey yesterday... a beautiful colour grey.. a bit nervous but would make a perfect pet for a caring owner....Mary X
