Stefie was such a lovely hound. He was adopted by Margaret and they lived a short walk from us. We often saw them walking past our house on the way to the woods and had a chat with them a few weeks ago when Margaret was telling us that he had a problem with his foot. He looked great apart from that and was always a happy, friendly hound. It’s difficult to believe that he has gone so soon.
Margaret would often say how much Stefie had helped her cope during her husband’s illness and she will miss him so much. He was a delightful hound and will be missed by all who knew him.

Oh this is just so sad, my heart goes out to Stefie's family and friends, your boy was taken from you far too soon, he was clearly cherished, RIP gorgeous boy xxxxxx

Very sadly after a short illness Stefie has gone to Rainbow Bridge Xxx Thinking of his owner Margaret and her family; he was loved by all. He was a Pure Delight. Xx I was fortunate to see him quite regularly as I dropped his food off for him. He was the happiest of boys and always greeted you with a very waggy tail. :) I saw him last week and despite obviously being uncomfortable, his tail was still wagging. Xx
He loved everyone and was friends with the cat up the road. They were known to rub noses. :) Stefie loved going for walks especially in the woods. He was very well know in his local area, everyone stopped to fuss him. Xxx
Margaret has lots of lovely memories of him; she says he was simply perfect and her best friend. :) She will miss him terribly. Thank you to Margaret and her late husband Gordon for giving him a wonderful life with them. Xxx
Lots of love, God Bless you beautiful Stefie. Xxx

Well Stefie has been on an adventure this morning! I had a call at 7.30 this morning to ask if I had lost my dog! Thankfully not mine but I identified him from his tattoos as his tag had become worn so his details were difficult to read. He had slipped his collar and went exploring, eventually wandering up the drive to a lovely elderly couple who fed him rich tea biscuits until I arrived! He has just been reunited with his distraught owners and a new tag is being ordered for him. Stefie was oblivious to the stress caused and is back on his bed and waiting for breakfast to be served!

I dropped a bag of food off to Stefie on my way to pick Roary up from the vets this afternoon. What a fantastic greeting he gave me! Thanks so much to his Mom and Dad for giving him a wonderful home, they love him so much and he adores them. It really cheered me up! :))) Xxx

I always liked Stefi when he was at Daybreaks and am pleased that I still see him as he lives near to us. Stefi is obviously very happy in his retirement and gets three walks a day to Elmdon Coppice.

I'm so happy this boy has found his home. We met him for the first time yesterday when we popped up with some bedding. He was such a great lad and whilst a permanent three is not for us, I must admit the word 'foster' had been mentioned!!! Would love to hear how he gets on in the future. Mand x

Stefie today paid a visit to Elmdon Park travelling in the car with the lovely Betty.
I have to say he really is a very special greyhound. After a quick burst of initial excitement on arriving at the park he settled down walking well on the lead and was completley at ease when meeting other dogs of all breeds and sizes. A happy affectionate friendly lad who will be a wonderful addition to any family home.

Well Stefan is certainly an impressive boy. Somehow he had cut his paw in his kennel but as soon as we checked it out and it had stopped bleeding, we went for a walk. It was well worth the wait - walking with Stefan is like walking with a hound that you have known for years. He's perfect to walk with.
