Duke came to visit us today. :) He looked fantastic and was such a happy boy! He came to choose himself a winter fleece and have his nails trimmed. His owner told us what a wonderful lad he is. It was great to see them both. Xxx

I am delighted that Duke has been rehomed. He is such a beautiful dog with a really friendly nature. He was eating his breakfast yesterday morning when I walked past the run and he stopped eating and came over for a cuddle. I hope he settles well in his new home. xxxx

Duke seems to love everyone he meets. He's so affectionate - I had trouble getting out of his kennel today- I didn't want to leave him (and the equally delightful Annie). I think he will make a brilliant friend to whoever decides to adopt him. xxxx

I think it's safe to say that everybody who meets Duke falls head over heels for him, he is the sweetest boy xx

Oh I do agree with Shanesmum. Duke has got gentle eyes, gentle manners, he has got leaning down to fine art. His coat is wonderfully soft and as a bonus, when walking him (another plus walks well) he is tall enough to stroke as you walk!! What's not to love . xxxx

We popped into the kennels this morning and Michael enjoyed meeting the handsome Duke (Duke was Mike's nickname at work so he has a special interest!!). Duke is a gentle, friendly boy who loves to lean and is so very affectionate. Big cuddles for him today. xx

Duke came with me to the Melbicks Roadshow this morning, he was the perfect companion. Lay down straight away in the car and walked brilliantly on the lead. This gentle fella met lots of small puppies and children and wasnt bothered at all. Duke loves his fuss and is a great leaner. He will make a great family dog.

Had the pleasure of meeting this gentle hound today. He is a big beautiful softy, with eyes that melt you. Like Rebel he is a very kissy boy, they are both total cuddle monsters and they both walk so nicely on the lead. xxxx
