Heartbroken to hear that little lass became I’ll suddenly and gained her angel wings this afternoon. My thoughts are with the family who tragically lost another grey only two days ago. Sleep tight little ones x

Ahhh so pleased this beautiful girl now has a red sign after being fostered for so long. Is this a new member of the FFP?! Well done Eillie on learning so well and well done Tracey for all your work with her :)

Over the moon at the fantastic progress that Tracey has made with Eillie during her fostering. I am so happy to say that Eillie's paperwork will be completed in the next couple of days to make her official!
Massive thanks to Tracey for helping out with Eillie who had severe issues around children and she has helped her overcome this with a lot of time and patience.
Massive thanks also to Julie dog training class who have donated the transfer fee for her adoption. Happy news :-))))))))

What a fabulous, clever girl Eillie is :) and soooo funny :) . She 'met' Ruth's new dolly that cries ,Eillie was a bit worried so barked at the doll, her foster mum just took a step backwards with Eillie until she stopped barking and looked away from the doll. She got a 'click' to tell her that's what we'd like her to do and she also got some sausage as a reward. She barked again but then looked away- click and reward, she soon got the idea and was looking away to get her reward :) . She did sneak forward a step, hid under her foster mum's skirt, had a bark but immediately stepped back and was quiet :) .. really funny and clever :) . She'll learn that she can move away from something that worries her so she'll get braver :) Such a lovely girl :) and very very smart :) xx

Well done Eillie and Tiggersmum. All these lovely hounds have such potential and if you are able to put the time in with them it's very satisfying to see how well they respond.

I've been doing some training with the glorious Eillie - what a fabulous, clever girl she is :) I use a clicker to mark the behaviour that I want and then drop a treat on the floor so she doesn't link hands with nice food :) . She has responded really well - dropping squeaky toys when told 'leave it' (not always immediately but as good as my Greys LOL) , I've been doing some 'Eillie Come' with wide arm signals, clicker and high value treats to encourage her to come to you and begin to know her name and she loves 'working' and finally doing some Telllington TTouch to help her relax. She is just lovely :) xx

Oh Ellie my Breeze is so jealous that you wear flowers in your hair, she just loves flowers - to begin with I thought she was sniffing doggie smells but she is the same if we have flowers in the house - her pointy nose in the flowers with eyes half closed - just loves the flowers!! Xxx

Eillie is such a pretty girl. She is friendly and happy and she likes interaction with people. Don't be put off by her bouncing up and down in her kennel because once out of kennel she is a super hound. xxx

Eillie and Bounty came out with me for an hour this afternoon. They are both lovely girls, who walk well together. They must get on very well actually because they travelled together squished in the boot of my Citroen C3! They seemed quite bemused by the process of getting into a car and all the kissing gates we went through but with gentle encouragement they managed both. Despite the heat, they were really keen to walk and see what the world outside the kennels has to offer. Both of them are petite, sweet girls and would make a great addition to a family. It was my pleasure to spend some time with them x
