Eric came to see us today! Wow, he looked fantastic and was such a very happy lad. He had a play in the sand run. :)
I'm sorry he had a long wait to have his nails clipped...he didn't like it all!!

Had a lovely update on Eric today. He has enjoyed his 1st Christmas in his home, has been so very well behaved and gets on well with his sisters. He is going to the vets on Friday to have a nasty corn removed. Thank you Jayne for updating us. Hope all goes well and look forward to seeing you soon for volunteering duties.

Sue took Eric to the vets for the second part of his vaccination today. She said he was perfect travelling in the car and was happy to lie down on the waiting room floor on the vets until it was his turn to be seen. He really is a smashing, intelligent and happy lad, just waiting for that someone special to recognise his potential! Sending him my cuddle tonight. Xxx

No stopping Eric yesterday. Despite a tremendous downpour, he walked happily along (now much easier on the lead) and loves being out and about.

Eric had a belated birthday walk around Brueton Park on Sunday and as before showed himself to be a wonderful boy, so happy to be out and about - not at all bothered about a bit of rain. He was well behaved around other dogs, and just wanted to see and smell everything.

Eric is a fantastic boy, who loves his walks and being out of the kennels. He really likes toys, cuddles and strokes. He's a pleasure to walk and a pleasure to sit with. Gorgeous. Xxx

Love your new photo Eric, shows how much you love playing with toys, although you can be a bit reluctant to give them up unless there is a tasty treat on offer!! Big cuddles my handsome. x

Eric was very well behaved on his lead this afternoon. Even with his muzzle on he managed to snaffle a toy through the bars of his run he was very reluctant to release it, which wouldn't usually matter but he's sharing with two girlies and we didn't want to risk toy envy!!! Xxx

Had the pleasure of taking Eric to the Sheldon Park walk on Sunday. He was so well behaved and I had no problem getting him in and out of the car. He was excited to be out and about and enjoyed looking around so much that he just wanted to walk and walk and sniff and walk. He's big and was strong on the lead to start with but settled into a good walking pace. He is clever, deciding to have a short rest to re-energise half way round. Returned to kennels for a big drink, a long rest but hopefully for him a short stay.
