Not long after your comments beautiful Penny was reserved! She is going to live with a gorgeous Husky cross called Bear. They had a great time in the sand run together. So happy for her!! Xxx

Yes Shanishoo, we need to focus our attention on getting this little girl her forever home. Not that the other residents aren't equally deserving, just that Penny has already been in a home and is a long stayer. Now Ed is going home she's going to be sad without him.

To anyone considering homing one of these lovely hounds, please don't be put off by her being slightly older than some of the others. She's still very young, playful and sweet. We're at the kennels at weekend so it would be lovely if she were to be reserved then (if not before).

Don't worry sweetheart, your family will find you soon. x

Please somebody give this little girl a home to call her own, she has waited so patiently, breaks my heart that she is still in kennels, please don't overlook her xxxx

We really hope someone spots her soon, we must check the site 20 times a day hoping :( Phoebes eczema is going in the right direction... we are hoping she will grow out of it one day and we can try again with fostering to see how her skin reacts. We will be up to do some volunteering soon but are too gutted to come up to help whilst Penny is still waiting. Thanks again for your support xx

I'm so sad for you and your family that you had to lose Penny. What a hard decision to have to make. She sounds wonderful - we have two children aged 2 and 5, but are not looking to adopt until Easter, which is very sad. I hope she finds a loving home soon

After we lost our Kallie in October we decided to rehome Penny after our daughter loved her as soon as she saw her. We unfortunately had to return her due to my daughters severe eczema, having a different dog in the house seemed to really upset it. It was a very hard decision to return her after doctors advice but we had to put our daughter first. We still really miss her & her amazing personality. She was great on walks, she treated our daughter like her puppy and was always searching for her to check she was ok. The house is not the same without her & we really hope she finds her forever home she truly deserves.

Penny is loving sharing her kennel with Ed...while they were waiting for their dinner this afternoon she kept on barking and play bowing in front of him, trying to get him to play! Ed was more interested watching the door to open and his food to appear. :)) Penny decided she would play a game of how to get your fleecey coat off with out undoing the strap...! After dinner Ed decided to put his head on her back for a rest. :)) They are both adorable. Xxx

Penny hasn't lost any of her charm. Still a happy girl who walks nicely. Lots of kisses. Xx

Very sadly due to a family illness Penny is back at the kennels. Her owners are distraught to have to return her. They say she is a fabulous girl and they will miss her very much. She is such a good girl, walks well on the lead and is very sociable with other dogs. She is very loving and great with children. She can be a little shy when meeting new people for the first time. Xxx
We have paired her up with our very handsome Ed, sure he will take good care of her. Sending our best wishes to her family. Xxx

Roxy was reserved twice today!! Her new family visited her last week and were coming back to see her again at lunchtime today. First thing this morning a member of the family called on behalf of the lady to reserve her as a surprise for her husband. Xx Then a little later the gentleman called in to reserve Roxy for his wife! Both were worried if they didn't reserve her she would be reserved by someone else before they came back to see her! It was confusing... but so lovely, she was obviously the right girl for them. :))) Xxx

Hi tessbonn, Roxy is a super little girl. She is very quiet in her kennel, likes to make her own bed! :)) She enjoys going for walks and is great on the lead. She hasn't met any small fluffies yet but gets on well with the other Greyhounds. She is good with people and loves a cuddle.
