Happy 5th birthday Harry! A year on and you really are enjoying life and are very laid back. So much so that you can’t be bothered to chase cats or squirrels,in fact I’m more interested in catching them than you are.You are brilliant at everything that’s asked of you, and naturally amazing with the grandkids who love you to bits.It will soon be holiday time again in the caravan which you love, and we’re all looking forward to enjoying it with you x

Well 1 week in and i'm really pleased to say Harry has been brilliant.He is so happy and loves his new home.He walks well but is obviously keen to meet other dogs but there is no aggression there.Its lovely to see him discovering everything new.He went to his first training class and behaved himself,he's also met his auntie Linda and Peggy who I can see being a big part of his life along with Uncle Paul.He also met his Auntie Andrea today who loved him.He is such a polite hound and wants to please you,he is clean in the house,sleeps through the night,loves his cuddles is great with the grandkids,loves playing with his toys and is well behaved,to be honest he's showing me up already!He is such a lovely dog I'm so pleased we've got the opportunity to make his life a great one,because he deserves it.

How lovely to read all about Harry. Daisydog and I send heaps of seaside hugs and wags for a wonderful life together. Xx

As Linda said it took us a good time to get over Blue & Ben and we hadn't been to the kennels for a long time,but on seeing Harry,and watching the way he behaved,he instantly gave us the right feeling about having a dog again,and that he was the right one.He has been as good as gold so far,obviously very excited about everything,but in a controllable way.I had to laugh when he found the toy basket and they were flying through the air.He's such a happy boy,and loves being with you.He went on his first walk today and met another dog with no problems and although I was obviously ready for anything,he was happy to walk right next to you with his lead loose as he wasn't pulling.We are really looking forward to training classes again so watch out Julie Fatharry is back,with another Harry,the "Two Harrys"has a ring to it.I am looking forward to him meeting Peggy,and its great to see comments on here from people I remember.Thank you Kate for your help and guidance.I promise you he'll have a great life and is already loved,and I'll put updates on here about him so you can see how his doing.

Well they’ve only gone and done it! Well done Harry for becoming the newest member of the Harrison family! I’m sure Blue & Ben will be smiling down from
Rainbow Bridge and will be pleased you’ve opened your hearts and home to another greyhound.
Of course by joining them you’re going to have to make friends with us too, especially Peggy as I can imagine we might have some walks together. Lots of love for a happy retirement from Linda, Paul, Lena & Peggy xxxx

I am sad for the lovely Harry that he is no longer reserved - although it does mean I can have plenty more soft, snuggly Harry sized cuddles!! Michael was able to join me at the kennels this morning for the first time in ages - and he instantly fell under this gorgeous boys spell! Harry was bright & happy after his neutering op yesterday and I am hoping he will catch somebody's eye again soon. xxx

Due to a change in work circumstances Harry is sadly no longer reserved. We thank his potential family for their interest and hope they may think about adopting a Greyhound in the future should things change. Xxx

Am over the moon that my handsome boy has been reserved already. Still can't get over how snuggly his fur is! xxx

Oh my gosh. Handsome Harry is a super boy. He walked along the Coventry Road with his neck touching my knee for practically the whole way, did a couple of excursions to find a suitable place to toilet, and then returned to my knee. He gives lovely kisses, what a fab hound. Hugs for him xxxxxx
