Happy birthday lovely Peggy xxx

We took Peggy to the day out at Witley Court and she was adorable throughout the day. Obviously a little nervous to start with, but was perfect in the relatively long car journey and then so happy to be just out and walking about. She is very easy to walk, and well behaved throughout the day. She cleverly found some shade, to lye down and rest and relax in the afternoon sun, before trying and acquiring the taste for (dog) ice cream. I got the feeling that Peggy will become a very loyal and loving family greyhound.

Our sweet Peggy was a little too nervous to give blood today....but she still got treats, so was a happy girl! :)) Xxx

Thanks so much to Norman and Lynne for taking Peggy for another visit to the park today. She had a lovely time. :)) she is such a sweet girl. Xxx

Peggy today paid her first visit to Elmdon Park
She was slightly unsettled travelling to the park but much more relaxed coming back. This possibly suggests she's a girl who needs time to get used to life in the outside world. She was slightly unsure of things when meeting the other breeds not in any aggressive way at all but slightly backing away from them. Hopefully as with travelling in the car she will adapt to life in the park the more she gets out and about.

We have so many lovely girls with us at the moment including gorgeous Peggy! Such a happy, ball of fun! Xxx

Sweet little Peggy is a loving little lady - and much happier to lose the cone of shame following her op yesterday. I have added photos of her being fussed yesterday morning prior to her op
as well as a few other photos.

Whilst I work in the office I have been watching her on the camera and she is so chilled out in her kennel and not bothering with her tummy dressing. She is truly beautiful x

Gorgeous little Peggy went to the vets today for her spey. She is back at the kennels and quite subdued so will be coming home with me tonight.

Peggy is settling very well at Daybreaks. She had a very waggy tail when we came in this morning! Xxx

Her Trainer says she wasn't very interested in racing, so they decided to retire her so she can find her forever home. :) Xxx
