Bobby (and us) would like to say a massive thank you to Ruth who ran to his rescue when he somehow managed to get his head through the bars of the baby gate in the kitchen at the kennels and got completely stuck. Doesn't bear thinking about what might have happened if she hadn't been there and acted so promptly. Xx

So, yesterday we brought Bobby home on trial. So far he has been amazing. Had a good sniff around the garden on arriving and immediately lay down for a sunbathe! When it started to rain later he came in and, after a bit of investigation, decided he wanted his bed down by the patio door and then he lay down and slept all evening! At bedtime we took him a quick walk for a last wee and he settled downstairs on his bed like a good boy. I was woken by a weird noise at 5.30am and found him throwing his toys round the living room! After a quick wee and poo outside he soon got the message it was too early and settled back down. He's behaved perfectly this morning on his walk, eaten all his food and the next step is seeing if he and my sons spaniel can get along together! Xx

Just love this boy - when he spotted his breakfast bowl on its way this morning he was bouncing so high I feared he would hit his head on the roof of the run!!

He may well be post-op recovery, but he certainly doesn't know it!! He is a big lad, but so sweet and just wants to be with you and have cuddles. x

Bobby went off to the vets for his Neutering operation this morning. He was a very good boy and loved the extra cuddles he received from Debbie! Xxx
Ruth and I collected him this afternoon. He was very wobbly as he came out of the vets, but managed to eat his dinner when he got back to the kennels.
Bobby is a really lovely, affectionate lad. Xxx

Thanks so much to Norman for taking Bobby to the park this morning. :)) He still looks quite worried sometimes, but is beginning to settle in his new surroundings. He does love lots of cuddles! Xxx

Bobby today paid a visit to Elmdon Park.
He was a pleasure to be with in the park. After travelling perfectly in the car he walked sensibly throughout on the lead. On meeting other breeds although showing curiosity there was no aggression whatsoever
He is a really quiet amiable dog who will be a fabulous addition to his future home when it finally arrives

Bobby is a very cute boy! Hoping he will soon find his forever home. Xxx
