Hi Mand, Yes you are right Greyhounds are wonderful! I tell Twiggy every day she is the most beautiful girl in the whole world and she looks at me as if to say, "Yes I know, but you can tell me again!!" Kind regards Kate and Twiggy xx

Aren't Greyhounds the most wonderful dogs? It's lovely to hear how Tilly is helping you all after your loss. It was so obvious how upset you were, but it looks as though this little girl is helping to heal you all. Keep us posted, it's really nice to hear how you are all getting on. Take care. Mand x

I loved this little girl when she came to the kennels. she has something so appealing about her and she is so much fun in a very tiny package and yes the name Tilly does sound good and it does suit her. i so hope that she will continue to settle and that she will be able to become a permanent member of your household, she certainly deserves it and by the sound of your recent loss so do you. good luck with it all and keep us posted i love reading the progress reports. Thanks lady victoria for the good wishes. Only one problem is that I couldn't get my mouth around the name Jill for some reason, and the kids both hated it!!! She went to Jilly, then Millie and now we have stopped at Tilly. Some how in our house it suits her. Once had had some food and a walk yesterday she finally slept like a log. All excitement and stress of a new home faded as she slept soundly instaed of with one eye open up to then. Boy is she excited when the muzzle goes on at the moment. And she is so so gentle taking food from Gary my partner it is untrue. She follows Sully around with nose to his hind leg when they are in the garden which is causing him a problem trying to wee!! All in all a good start so fingers and toes crossed it will continue.

Hi Tracey, when I read you were going to the kennels at the weekend I knew you would not go home empty handed! Jill is a very lucky girl. I hope everything works out for you all. Kind regards Kate and Twiggy xx

Jill had a good night. No tears or messes. A ight mad excited bundle this morning. She's feeling braver as wondering around the house being nosey. Even climbs the stairs although too scared to come down again!! She has found papers this morning though to wreck!!! Tracey x

All calmish in our house. Bird came out, Jill went loopy so she is visiting the utility on a comfy bed whilst Gemma has 30 mins to fly around. Think bird and a house in one day too much excitement for her. Don't worry about not bathing her Ruth it was fun! Think she's forgiven me already. She smells great now and looks alot better already. Sully is now sulking about sharing with her but hopefully he will get over it and come to love her as he did Biscuit. Here's to a peaceful night . . and a happy mother's day to all us Grey mother's x x

Hi Tracey - great to hear she is doing well. Pity we couldn't have bathed her for you but rather she didn't catch hypothermia by having a bath in the weather we have had.....
Keep us posted xxx

Hi Ruth. Its 1835hrs. Well Jill has had a bath already. as the house stunk with her!!! She is now warm and fluffy. She ate tea well with Sully and they have been curled up together. No accidents yet!! Currently sniffing the keyboard. Only worry so far is the excited she shows towards Gemma the African grey parrot. But early hours yet, let alone days so hopefully time will diminish her wish to snack on Gemma.
Alex adores her already, and almost forgiven for bringing her home without Gary seeing her first. Keep you updated. p.s tried to eat my roses and sunflowers in the vase already and an advid TV watcher - ha ha. Tracey & Sully XXXXX

i love Jill she is just so full of mischief and so full of energy. what she lacks in size she more than makes up in personality and she is a really special little girl who will give someone a lot of love and many hours of fun and entertainment. utterly irresistable. xxxx

She was called Joy but we have just let a long stayer of that name go out on trial so it would get confusing!
