How is magic, fire and mick getting on? Hope all is well xx

Well I Magic was a superstar at Sutton Park today. I saw a number of dogs and just ignored them, even though Mick and Fire had a bit of a bark at them. I did start to bark at a small fluffy dog at the end of my walk but Mummy said no and I stopped. Mummy and Daddy were really impressed with me and I got lots of praise and cuddles for stopping. Mummy tried giving me a treat but I wasn't interested (now if it had've been cheese hehehe)

Magic had a very chilled and relaxing night. She's come to us for fuss and had a waggy tail, but she's still a bit quieter than the other two and quick to go back to her bed after a bit of a cuddle. Her manners have been fantastic, so well behaved and being a good role model for Fire. A trip to the loo has become a whole new experience lol to have 3 greys bolting up the stairs after you and standing 2 two inches from your face with waggy tails, classic. We're so glad we go these guys.

Well this is incredible. We have been home a few hours. They spent about hour and half having a mooch around the house and garden. They have been spark out and really chilled. We've have loads of waggy tails and kisses. I have to say that Magic is being an absolute superstar. She has been great with Mick and Fire - she's not been bossy at all. At feeding time Mark had them all waiting at the kitchen door - Magic went and waited straight away and stayed there until she was told she could go in. When we had our food they were told to go to their bed - Mag did it straight away again, Mick wasn't bad, and Fire will need some work hahahaha (bless him he's new to this). So far Magic has impressed us all (perfect manners so far). Oh and she even went and lay down on the bed with Mick for a while (until one of us moved that is). It doesn't get any better than this. Kerry thank you so much for suggesting we have Magic - she's a happy girl tonight and we are just over the moon. We love these guys so much. Will keep you posted. Love a very happy Neal family x

Fire and Magic my gorgeous sweethearts, I was so glad I got to spend a bit longer with you today. Magic you seemed a little bit more upbeat than you did yesterday and definitely Monday. Hopefully you know that good things are going to happen soon. Fire you were in a cuddly mood today too, you're getting to know me a bit better. Hi Kerry, the fences will definitely be sorted ready for you to do the house check Thursday, whatever it takes. We have gotta get these babies home especially Magic, she was really down today. Friday will be perfect because we have then got the weekend and a whole week off for them to settle in and get used to us leaving them for short periods at first. When on Thursday is a good time for you? I will probaby be home just after 4.30 if I get to stop at the kennels. Mark will pick you up save getting the bus. Just let us know what time and where. Good morning Magic and Fire my sweethearts. I hope you had a lovely night together (the first of forever). I thought about you all night and can't wait until we can bring you home. Daddy is going to sort as much of the fencing as he can this week (if he has any light left) so that we can hopefully finish early enough on Saturday to get the approval from Kerry and get you guys home for the weekend. soooooooooooooo happy magic got picked today with fire and are goin to live with a really great family

We had the pleasure of taking this lovely girl for the day yesterday. She is a little bundle of fun and we really hope someone can give her the chance and give her a loving home. She is very fussy and during a cuddle she likes to lean against you. She did very well yesterday with all other types of dogs around yesterday and just needs a bit of time to get used to things. She loved Rolo and was very well behaved with him. All in all a very good day for her. Big loves and cuddles. Rich, Manda & Rolo xxx

Oh what a shame! I remember all of these three, especially Magic as she was here for so long. She's gorgeous, along with the other two, so I'm sure they wont be here too long, especially since they have already been living in a home. x

Magic is being returned to the Trust as soon as we have space as her owner is no longer able to keep her.

It is so great to hear she is doing so well and what a talented thing she is.... piano playing eh?!!! xxxx

Maj is really settling in to home life now. She loved rolling around on the lawn so that she could keep cool when it was hot yesterday . She has just learnt to climb up the stairs, so doesn't get upset if we go up stairs as she can follow us now (Jay could manage the stairs straight away). Maj still gets very excited when she sees other dogs or cats, oh and when she saw a rabbit the other day, she just wanted to play. She loves her food too, even stuff we wouldn't expect her too such as broccoli, mange tout, melon, apple, birdfood (yes, she knocked the bird table over and then ate all the food off it - bless her!) She's asleep now on the arm chair with her head hanging over the side - she looks so sweet and lovely, we just can't help but love her. Her sister, Jay, is just so wonderful too. very good on the lead, not so bothered about food as Maj and will quite happily sleep on your lap all day long if only we would let her. She's so affectionate and loves to be cuddled. Although she is a bit of a magpie and will try to steal anything she can such as cushions, clothes, magazines, dvd cases, lunch boxes, etc. We even caught her chewing the kitchen scissors, luckily we managed to get them off her before she hurt herself. The other day she surprised us, she stood up on her hind legs and started playing the piano with her front paws. We didn't realse she was so talented! All in all, they are both beautiful girls and we are very lucky to have them. Now if we had a bigger house, we would be so tempted to get them a big brother!....:o)

What lucky girls Magic and Jay are to have found such a fantastic home and to be 'loved to bits'. Magic was at Daybreaks for such a long time. Thank you for giving her a chance.

We just love having Maj and Jay around, they are both wonderful and very entertaining. Although we're not sure yet which one is guilty of digging the 2 feet long and 1 foot deep hole in the middle of the lawn or which one brought a dead starling in the house and left it on the sofa! There's never a dull moment! Maj thinks she's the boss of the neighbourhood and Jay just loves been cuddled and fussed. And if you want to know who ate all the pies, that would definately be Maj. :o)

Magic said hello to a visiting German Shepherd dog today and did really well, with a bit of patience and love she will learn to accept other dogs no problem, it just takes the one special person to want to spend the time with her, hopefully she'll find that person soon. xxxx

I have a 3 year old Jack Russell who is used to having us to ourselves, he is very good and likes playing with large dogs. I would not want to spoil what we have with him but I think it would be nice for him to have a dog friend, do you think it would be a problem? Magic sounds perfect and she would get loads of love and attention hope to come and see her soon - not had a grey before but have always wanted one.

Ann and Willow, i also wondered whether my spoiled Rossi would accept another greyhound but it was no problem at all, he likes having his own kind around as well as having Monty dog. Magic has met Monty and she was certainly VERY curious as to what he was but i have no doubt that she would learn to accept other breeds given a bit of time and training. generally dogs and hounds seem to like having a canine companion and i am sure if you were to take Willow to meet Magic and go for a walk with the two of them and have them spend some time in the run together you'll soon tell if they are happy to be together. why not give it a go, it would make Magic's life truly magical if she found a loving home soon. Hello! (First big mistake) I keep looking at the Daybreaks website and I keep looking at Magic, she looks so lovely I can't believe she hasn't been snapped up yet. My second big mistake was looking at Magic's family tree, turns out she and Willow have the same Dad! ... I wonder if Willow would like a little sister ... ?!?!

magic is a real sweet girl who loves fuss and treats.she will make a wonderful friend for someone .she needs a little help with other breeds but apart from that shes great and alot of fun.

Magic is a strong little girl with a very inquisitive mind who has a very happy smiley face...i've walked her with both Rossi and Toby and she was quite happy to trott alongside the 2 big boys.hopefully someone will fall for her little cheeky face soon.x
