I know it's easy looking at all the new arrivals, but please someone give Kite a chance. The first time I saw him, he quite literally took my breath away. He is a stunning boy and although he looks a bit of a big lad, I can honestly say that sometimes those that come in small packages, can be more work! He is the litter brother to our boy Gent and if he is half the dog Gent is, you're in for a treat - a gentle, loyal friend, who will be by your side no matter what. There are plenty of people who have spent time with Kite and sing his praises, what he needs now is a family of his own, who will love and cherish him and give him the forever home he deserves. My girls (of both the canine and human variety!) fell in love with Kite at the show yesterday. I think the cat might be less impressed but I'm sorely tempted...

Kite has been staying with us for the week. He enjoyed a weekend in Wales where he had runs on the beach and paddled in the sea. He was very well behaved in the local pub where he made friends with a Jack Russell. He travelled there and back perfectly with my other three greys, George, Jasmine and Jet. He went training on Sunday and Monday and was also really well behaved. He loves playing with toys and a bit greedy with his dinner!! He is still learning to share and take turns with the others. I've been to work all day and he's been fine. He really is a most affectionate boy and bonds with you straight away. Guess he will get loads of cuddles at the show. See you next week.

Sadly it was mainly the size of Kite that let him down. Don't worry - the right home is out there somewhere..... as for another addition to our family..... I really think SIX (obviously financially) is plenty already!!!!!!!!!!!

Kite is doing fantastic - he sleeps downstairs with our greys at night now and not a peep out of him all night. He is totally toilet trained - please someone, give him a chance.

I actually love this dog and keep going back to him on my search for the right dog. I don't have any problem with the anxiety thing as i know it can be worked on. It is just the cat issue. I am desperately appealing for someone wonderful to have Kite. He comes home with me every night and is a dream to have. He is house trained, sleeps through the night, great on the lead, good with other breeds of dog and eats well. He has good table manners around our food also. The only problem is that he has severe separation anxiety. He needs someone firm who can teach him that it is ok to be left on his own and I can help anyone who could give him a chance of how to do this. He is fabulous with our 6 greys and is very affectionate. If there was a space at the Boswell House he would be staying but we are full unfortunately :-(

I can vouch for that too. We saw Kite too - lying on the floor chilling out with Roxy when the rest of us were cheering Martin and Sweep in the show ring! He really is the most handsome fella and looked as though he had been with Laura for years. Go on, someone give him the chance he deserves. Mand x

Thank you Ruth for allowing Craig, Roxy and myself the privilege of spending the day with this gorgeous boy today. He was an absolute treasure; greeting greys, other breeds, children and busy crowds with a sniff and not even the slightest grumble. He was really relaxed with Roxy and gave her a lovely cuddle in the car on the way home! Miss him already. Xxxxx

Well, two days it took and he is house trained already! Clever lad. With the training we are giving him for his separation anxiety - we are winning! He has spent most of the evening asleep on the floor in our lounge, unmuzzled with our 6 greys and he has stopped following me around like a magnet! Fantastic progress for a really fab boy! He comes to the kennels during the day and he had another session in the magna box which he enjoyed.... a greys equivalent to Hoar Cross Hall I think! Please someone, fall in love with him and give him a home....

I agree Ruth, Kite is a wonderful boy n it such good condition n so handsome. Once he's out of is kennel he's so much more chilled like 2day in the run. Someone's gonna b very lucky 2 hav him n of they take him 2 the dog show he's got a good chance of gettin a 1st in a least one category. Giv him a go u won't regret it. X

I am sitting here on the sofa with most gorgeous boy laying his head on me.... this poor lad is so stressed at the kennels so he came home with me last night too. He is sooo affectionate and loving but he has separation anxiety which we are teaching him to deal with. Please someone, give him a home with loads of love and he will be your devoted best friend in return.

We took him to the park this morning and he was a dream to walk.

to you both, sometimes it just does not work out as we expect it to and some dogs want to be only dogs as against pack dogs as seems the case with Kite, it was so lovely of you to want to give them both a home so please don't feel bad, Kite is a beautiful boy and he will find a home where he can be king pin and at last Rolo has got his own mum and dad to adore him all to himself and he surely does deserve the best. kind regards Ina and her boys. xxxx

I collected Kite today as he was very unsettled in his new home & clearly didn't want to share his new mum and dad with Rolo. He will be a fantastic pet for someone who will adopt him as 'an only child'. His owners are distraught at returning him. With time Kite would have settled but his care was going to be shared with 'granny & grandad' during the day while his owners were at work and it was decided that this responsibilty would be too much for them.

If you think he looks good in the photo, you should see him in the flesh. I was the one holding him for his photo and he's absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!! His coat is as black as coal and so soft. He is totally stunning. He's also our Gent's litter brother, which makes me totally biased!!! Mand x
