Hi Michelle (Barkinnkennels), After a week of antibiotics it was still there, so I stuck a needle in the lump yesterday and got loads out of it and it has disappeared now! Fingers crossed it doesn't come back!

Well done Scottie. Hope you're feeling well enough to show off your best side today as someone from Craig's work is coming to see you! He told them how lovely greys were and how helpful Auntie Ruth and Zoe are so fingers crossed!! xx

Scottie was a brave boy and had the lump on his tail syringed. They think it is an infected cyst which antibiotics should clear up - if not he will have it surgically removed. He got excited at the fluffy dog in the waiting room but soon calmed down and decided looking out the window was far more interesting eventually!

words fail me..how callous to want to put a perfectly healthy 3 year old to sleep when there are lots of potential homes for him, some people are sick in the head. thank you to Bark Inn for taking him in and looking after him and i hope that he is going to be fine after his vet visit, he looks such a sweetheart bit like my Rossi. :-) xxx
Friday 19 Nov 12:46
Aww such a lovely boy, hope the trip to the vets goes well xx
Friday 19 Nov 09:26
Poor lad...thank goodness for the people at Bark Inn Kennels. I do hope he gets on ok at the vet's today and he can find himself a lovely new home. xx
Friday 19 Nov 09:02
I hope everything is ok with Scottie he is a lovely boy and Ruth if you need anything let me know and Bark Inn will help if there is any vet bills x x
Friday 19 Nov 08:45
I brought Scottie home with my last night as we found a lump on his tail which needs to be looked at by the vet this morning. He was really quiet overnight and this morning although he had one accident he has found himself a comfy bed, curled up and gone back to sleep! He is quite a small fella and adorable x
ps to Deb - yes he is :-(
Sunday 14 Nov 10:55

I have had an email from Scottie's family which I wanted to share with you - it just makes me so happy.....
I thought you might like to hear an update on Scottie who joined our family in December 2010. Scottie has spread his wings and flown across the pond. We moved to Illinois, USA last year and he is loving it. He goes barmy in the snow and becomes a happy sloth when the sun shines. A well travelled hound, born in Ireland, lived in England and now here in the good ol US of A:)
He will be 9 this April and he still runs like a youngster and is the most perfect friend.
