I have had the heartbreaking news that sadly Dee Dee has gone to Rainbow Bridge. She had been really poorly recently. Another beautiful girl running free too soon...... She was a little minx - I will never forget her and I send the biggest of heartfelt sympathy to her owners. xxxxx

poor little mouse, she was feeling a little sorry for herself on wednesday when i went to give her a cuddle and yes she can be a marebag when she sees the others but its only just showing off and bluster, get better soon little monkey. xxx

Poor Dee Dee, hope today goes well for her...growling at other greys in the kennels, Penny says she can't believe that sort of behaviour, lol! x

Poor Dee Dee - she managed she scrape her leg on Tuesday and unfortunately she has now got an infection in it despite cleaning and dressing the wound. Her leg was like a little tree trunk by yesterday afternoon so I took her to the vets yesterday evening and they have given her antibiotics. she is being admitted today to have the wound explored and stitched so fingers are crossed for her.

Everyone who knows Dee Dee knows she is the sweetest, loving little girl but she lets herself down by growling at all the other greys at the kennels. Last night I did some serious training with her and this morning already she is walking around between 9 greys here with very little grumbling!

so beautiful and so loving, she adores having love and attention lavished on her and gives it back to you wholeheartedly, have a look at her and see how lovely she is. xxx

Had lovely cuddles with DeeDee yesterday, and she even obliged by giving my face a wash too! Absolutely stunning girl.

she is such a good and gorgeous girl, very quiet today, i had a quick snuggle :D

Dee Dee is a bossy boots (most girly greyhounds are!) but she just doesn't 'sell' herself by shouting at all the other greys that walk past 'her' run. When in a smaller kennel, she used to stand over her kennel mate showing her fabulous teeth (!) but since we have moved her to the big run she has become firm friends sharing with Freddie and Wizzard. She has learnt that her bossy nature doesn't get her anywhere with two very laid back boys! She is absolutely gorgeous - and with a bit of training to socialise her more she will learn - she is extremely loving and affectionate with any two-legged visitors and absolutely loves her cuddles x

Why is she unreserved?

although the 'reserve' has gone it was for the right reasons and now someone will be able to offer Deedee a home with them, she is a lovely affectionate girl who does know her own mind and will let you know what she expects of you LOL. xxx

Brought Dee Dee home tonight as she is still a little swollen following her spey. Thanks to Michelle and Gordon from Barkinn Kennels for bringing her and Sally over to Daybreaks despite the M42 being closed.
Dee dee did a big wee in our hall but I think it was nerves.... she is now settled and fast asleep.... such a sweetie - sure she won't be at Daybreaks long x
