Sophie it’s so sad to read your news about Katy. They become such a big part of our family life and leave an enormous hole in it when they leave us. Still remember with a smile speaking to you at a Solihull roadshow before you had your girls. I’m sure they have left you many happy memories.

Our beautiful Princess Katy has gone to be with her best pal Sadie today. She passed very peacefully..... but we will really miss her. Our home feels very empty.

Have just got home from another rubbish day at work and feel the need to tell some one or everyone...... I love my Greys, Katy and Sadie soooooo much. Thank you Daybreaks. You dont just make a difference to Greyhounds lives but peoples too! : )

Just logged on to say what a great walk we had at Arrow Valley today and how pleased I was to see Cas go home with his new family...... thought my computer wasn't working when I could only see 6 Greys left for rehoming ...... what an amazing weekend you have had at Daybreaks!! All the hard work continues to pay off!!

Thanks for the message. Have been away so Katy has been to Barkinn Kennels. I am so pleased with how she has been cared for but very glad to have her home ... really missed her!. She is still lame on her front right paw and is back on antibiotics and anti inflamatories. Follow up vets visit tomorrow morning so will know more then. She has been a very good girl. May not be at training for a few weeks as it is more difficult in the school holidays.

Just wondering how little Katy is getting on .We missed her at training today.

Saw Katy at training again and she has really settled with her new family, she is very friendly and her new mum is so proud of her.
Her coat is looking really well,she has put on weight and is thriving in a home environment.

Katy has been a very good girl. She has eaten everything and she slept through the night without a murmer (after her initial protest.) We've been extremly clean and is already coming round to the idea that pestering the Guineas isn't that exciting. She has enjoyed the fuss of the children and to their pleasure began to play with them with her toys this morning. She has met a few larger canine freinds today and seems to be coming to terms with them but a lot of work to be done on small ones!! Met a few of her friends from Day Breaks at the training class this morning and as I am sure you can imagine she is fast asleep now after possibly too much excitement!

Hi Katys mom, we were with you when you were buying the shop yesterday lol!! Hope she settled in well and you had a good first night, I am sure she had a lovely first night in her new home xx

Lovely to see you homed Katy, I know your new mum has been really looking forward to today and your new family will love you to bits. I look forward to seeing you out for walks and in the park xxx

I brought Katy home last night as she had been sick again and was very quiet and subdued. She was checked over by the vets and has been started on some antibiotics as her temperature is a bit high. She seems brighter today already and has eaten a bit of breakfast and has wagged her tail a few times :-)

Katy and her sister Connie are lovely little girls full of life and waggy tails. :-) xxx

This girl is absolutely gorgeous - really fluffy and very cuddly! She just snuggles into you. She had a bath on arrival and had a warm through in the new treatment room. After a walk and dinner she settled in really well x

Another gorgeous llittle girlie. Shows how hard you're all working that there are so many new arrivals. xx
