Many thanks for all your lovely comments. flick had a wonderful retirement but sadly lost his battle when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and spinal lesions. It was so hard to let him go but it was only the kindest thing to do. we spoilt him rotten over the last week and we will be scattering his ashes under his favourite plum tree in our garden. RIP my brave boy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm so sorry to hear about Flick, by the pics and comments, it's clear he was a beautiful boy and well loved. I hope you find it in you to re-home another beautiful grey, when the time is right.

I know how heartbroken you are but you made the bravest decision for Flick. He was a lucky fella to have found a home albeit for a very short 9 months xxxx

Flick is settling into his new home very well and is a very happy boy. He has even ventured up the stairs. He is an absolute joy and a welcome addition to our family!
