Hello! Just a note to say Teddy's still doing very well. Unfortunately we lost Teddy's first cat-brother but now he has a second, which he just ignores. He's put on a healthy amount of weight, loves going for a run every day and has a fondness for brown sauce on his dogfood.

Teddy doesn't bark much at all. He's actually quiet in his kennel n will usually only bark wen the leads come out for a walk or wen he sees the bowls of food coming out for meal time. He certainly isn't a constant barker, quite the opposite. He is a lovely boy. X

My Millie barked a lot with excitement when I first met her. She does still bark when excited but it's not constant or anything, most breeds bark a lot more than greyhounds anyway I find. Once they settle, so does the barking, he probably wouldn't need to bark much in a home environment x

Barking - schmarking, my 2 bark a bit - when they want their tea, how the heck they know its 5.45pm Mon- Friday I don't know!! Anyway a sharp - NO and sending them out the room if they persist (and giving in and making their tea) works wonders!! Its kinda cute they let me know they are around in a sore ear drums sort of way....

Definitely don't let it put you off! I only mentioned it to point out how different he was when out and about, he is honestly gorgeous and was as good as gold. x

Oooh, don't let the barking put you off, some dogs get stressed in kennels and a home just settles them down. Kennels turned my Penny into a complete barking, growling, bouncing ball of stress, but at home she's a poppet, a completely different dog...just ask Ruth, I'm sure she remembers how Penny was, lol! x

Teddy has such a sweet looking face...mmm the barking bit though puts me off a bit. It took Brucey (Killeacle Wardy) about 5 years before he built up the courage to bark to be let in!!

Had a lovely cuddle with teddy this morning. He was barking in his kennel but as soon as he got out on his walk he just wanted to have a good nose around, he was so interested in everything but didn't even blink when two labradors barked at him. A real sweetie!
